I'm trying to reproduce the circuit with a lower charging voltage, 24 volts. My SCR is getting stuck on and won't shut off. I tried lowering the voltage on the gate by changing the 100 ohm resistor to 15 ohm, but it still didn't turn off the SCR. Can you point me in the direction that I'm missing?
