@Sakkura1 The proms are more classical then this is (this is more of a mix in my opinion). Still, the proms are great! Vienna new years isn't really popular among the younger people I guess (although I quite like it ;))
You know....many people doesn't know anything about classical music and this is just a perfect way to introduce it to them. And I know that after these kind of concerts and performances a lot of people will like it and start to appreciate it and authors and orchestras and conductors....it's nice way to introduce the music to people...
What I love about Andre's music are the enthusiam and joy shown by the audience. Everyone is having such a good time and loving the music. Having seen 3 of his concerts I can vouch that you CAN'T HELP BUT LOVE IT! He is sensational, without a doubt! Thanks for posting.
Man, i love the guy at the beginning, 00:07. I just love him. He puts so much soul into him music, that he hits the drum as if his whole life would depend on it!!! EXcelente!! So true and so inspiring!!! A briliant fellow! That act of hitting the drum as if there's no tomorrow, shows that indeed, his whole life depends on (his) music>!!
Yeah, his enthusiasm is catchy, that visual makes the rest of the video almost unnecessary. Thanks for noticing it and pointing it out. There are not too many moments in life when we can see some reason to wake up in the morning and hit that drum with gusto!
That's a great commentary! I like him as I like many other guys of the orchestra. I like Sander Hendrix too. He's one of the trombone players, and he sings at 02:20.
Andre is so fantasic it is unbelievable, and the way he plays the violin, I have no idea why some people hate classical music. I mean it's people like Andre who make classical music worth appreciating, I'm only 15 years old and I think andre is the most fantastic violinist in the world. His music is beautiful and I also think Andre is a very handsome and talented man
I think it's why Andre does what he does - to make classical music open to everyone, not only the music "snobs". He's what many classical purists call a threat to "their" art. They don't like what he does to music by opening it to so many people.
i LOVE HIM!!

Simple y llanamente es increible las emociones que esta composición musical es capaz de hacer llegar a sentir.

What is this "A bright young man" thing? All I recognize are the radetzky march and the blue danube waltz...
As for popularizing classical music, I prefer the proms or the vienna philharmonics' new years concerts.
