Of course the game is easy, cuz you just need to spam cross - step back - spam again.

Play without that and divine armor and you will see, how hard it is, cuz the other attacks do nuts vs. the enemies.

Well, I am playing on Hellish difficulty and I cant do that at lest not yet. You have to find the relics that unable you to use holy powers without interruption of enemy attacks and you also have to purchase the appropriate power to be able to use the cross effectively. Some enemies are not vulnerable to holy attacks so I dont think you can use beat the hole game with one button. I am halfway into the game without being able to do that, the game get harder and harder so when you unlock...

those powers it is close to the end and rightfully so, they they that in anger (I think) you get thrown with every single enemy there is in the game and I really doubt you can just blaze through it like that. I am really enjoying the game and I think that some people may be misled by some of these posts. Just an opinion.

this was a great game. I liked its story and the gameplay was fun. Sanetsuken is right you can spam like that in a lot of games. I find it hard to believe all you did was cross spam on every boss on infernal and won

Well yeah you're on the easiest guys.

While I haven't finished it yet, I can say it isn't supposed to be a killer difficult game, it's all about having fun and finding different ways to kill than just spamming the cross.

I don't think it's crappy at all I love it. I guess the Belmont's Revenge vets will never be happy on how easy games are nowadays!

I can assure you I have survived other difficult game endeavors and while this never had me clutching the controller, it certainly wasn't easy!

fighting the most basic enemies (-THE- basic enemy) with full upgrades.

every game can be done like that. it's like starting with the spreadgun on contra. the first enemies will fall like flies.

more examples?

god of war, with fully upgraded blades

gears of war, starting with the hammer of dawn

resident evil, starting with magnum...

same stuff....

@Sanetsuken yeah they are ,but I did this on all the bosses too.Oh ,it's not fully upgraded it's a lvl 4 skill ,which you can get very early in the game.I'm only showing how crappy the game is ,not bragging or anything.

the game is crappy? the thing is, you can win like that in lots of games (especially fps'), so it can't really be a flaw that belongs JUST to dante's inferno....but ah well, i just think it's silly to say a game sucks because you're able to spam. if that's the case, then i know ALOT of games that should be burned

@Sanetsuken No ,it really is.The platforming element is bad and there is way too much of it.A very small amount of enemies ,it's funny to see - ones from the first circle in the others and so on.They were supposed to be unique.There are many balancing issues where enemies spam without end ,and you can lvl up to the max ,in the first game levels.A very small amount of skills (it looks like there is alot ,but it's just upgraded versions of the first skills)Many bugs ,and I can't type anymore :D

@Sanetsuken Imo, to me, Its just the fact that he's using one button, on the highest difficulty, with a move thats not fully upgraded AND Its an action game, just makes me go "WTF?".

I mean I know of no other action game you can do this on, and I'm an action game fanatic.

@JamJamo2008 well you can do it against the same type of enemies in other games as well. dynasty warriors if you count that. other examples are god of war. you CAN get by the basic enemies by just mashing one button. grab or light attack alone can dispatch of them. and i've TRIED so i know. it's even instant kill then.

most action games are like that. the smallest enemies die quick as hell. if he can do that against a boss, THEN i'll agree. or against atleast a higher "lvl" enemy

There's an enemy in this game, the sorcerer, that negates the power of the cross, and is usually accompanied by minions.  This one button strategy will fail on him and get you killed.
