I was the barman upstairs at The WaterFront for all of Sound City - many great bands and bloody good fun. I think my hearing problems nowadays are not only due to old age! The Prodigy were out of this world - I still can't believe anyone person could dance the way those guys did!

i was teching fo rthe prod back in these days....very nearly did not make it to this gig cos of issues with van drivers and licenses and stuff...one of the memories i have is of Mr C form the Shaman (who were also on the bill) selling pills from the dressing room :)

thanks for uploading this blast from the past and all the other ones too. i was 16 at the time, worked at the waterfront and was jetting off over the country with my mate to perceptions, eclipses, free parties and all sorts. i was at this, the orbital and the njoi gig (I went to both). the top of the waterfront had a capacity of 150 and both prodigy and orbital played really loud and hard....

...i remember talking to the manager of the waterfront before sound city and i had heard that they were going to think about putting the prodigy on and he asked me if i thought it would be a good gig..! not that i had any influence of course but still he seemed genuinly interested in my take. once again top stuff you have made me very happy...

Saw them at the forum too and was easily their best gig. Taped this too and always loved it.

This was upstairs at the waterfront in Norwich, Me and a mate were there, eating little pieces of paper. Our other mates were downstairs for Basti, N'joi and the shamen. You had to pick upstairs or downstairs, I still say we made the right choice...

no, this was in Norwich....i should know cos i was their tech at the time and this was the first gig i did with them....we only just made it to the venue in time cos of van troubles..and yes n-joi were there (in a diffeent room) and Shamen...Mr c was supplying "vitamins" from the Prods dressing room...
