Tried all of this, doesn't work. When I made the gmail account originally I never planned to use it, but when youtube changed their login thing awhile back, I got locked out of my original "FullOfFail" account. They're asking me questions I can not remember, like the exact day the account was created.
It asks me to enter the e-mail username and then to answer the secret question but it doesn't work because it tells me like there is no account like this one. I don't know what to do...help

Try the following:
1. click on the link that says "Can't access your account?" which is the first step in the video.
2.then click on the link called: "Forgot your username?"
3. Enter your back up email address and click submit.
This would be the email you would consider an alternate one. You had to provide a back up email address when you signed up for Gmail.....see next reply
4. Then on the next page enter the Capcha code and click submit.
Your alternate email account will a receive an account recovery email from Google that may help you.
If this doesn't work you should try one of these other methods.
5. go to this page: h ttp://ww w.google.com/support/accounts/
Look for Support Options or Help Resources. Try the different options including the forums to see which one will help you. The forum is very helpful. see next reply

There are a variety of issues that could cause your problem and you'll just need to sort them out one by one until you get there.
You could always open a new account. I wish you the best of luck.

go to yahoo.com and click the link to "sign in"
on the next page click the link that says "I can't access my account"
on the next page click the button next to the problem your are experiencing
then click the "next" button
you will need to provide some information to reset your password.
password reset can take up to 24 hours
