in general it actually does not sound bad, i really like the beginning. but i think what makes the folk go crazy are the tones the violin don´t hit and i must admit, the player sounds few times like "under the pitch" and out of tune, and that´s really pitty.

When you're on stage, just go for it. Take the song and ram it right through the foreheads of the audience. With this kind of music, it is okay to be a show off. Be extroverted and show the audience you have conviction in what you're playing. God knows Yasi you have the chops. So no need to hold back.

Hey, no need to diss on the violin player. Speaking from experience, trying to get a bowed instrument perfectly in synch with fretted instruments is a nightmare. Let alone two solo instruments like the violin and guitar, or the erhu and guitar.
