Nice, but I prefer the 1st version... did they use different intros for different series/seasons? They're quite different.

Another thing I've noticed about the Japanese intros when compared with the original is that Jubilee (although she gets rescued by Wolverine in this version) can actually put up a fight, rather than just fling a few fireworks and then get stuck in an alley running away from the bad guys. Actually, in the Japanese versions, she's pretty badass.

@kcking23 Thats depends I mean I like both. They have their own style. During the action scenes the japanese animation creates certain momentums in the whole thing that really catch your attention(kik ass moments). However, in most of the cases when they are not in action you just see their mounth movin like if it ws a puppet. I see that during those moments the american style show more body langauge, and also their drawing is more real. There are exceptions(GHOST IN THE SHELL, AKIRA, ETC)

These intros kick so much ass compared to the American version, from the animation to the music.

As fot the Wolverine/Cyclops discussion, it was shown in X-men Alpha (back in the 90's) that Cyclops' beams cut one of Wolverine's hands off and he never regenerated it. Pretty much making Cyclops the only one alive who can kill Wolverine by cutting his head off with his optical beam.

The reason Cyclops in Age of Apoc was able to sever Wolverine's hand is due to the weakeness around his wrist - the cartilage and ligaments are not bone and thus are not covered in adamantium. Blasting that would severing the hand. That does not prove that Cyclops could behead him, which the Xavier protocols say needs to be done to kill him.

In What If? Issue #50 the Hulk killed him by severing his adamantium spine. The only being strong enough to do this is the Hulk.

The spine, in case you are not 100% familiar with human anatomy is composed layers of bone seperated by layers of cartilage

In order to have a flexible spine, the cartilage portions can not be reinforced with adamantium, providing the same weakness as in the wrist you just brought up.

This makes it quite easy for Cyclops' beam to be capable of beheading the yellow spandex wonder with a clean shot to the neck. Not that Wolves would give him the chance, but the weak spot exists.

@c1nd3r Well there are two things that favor Wolverine if he battled Cyke 1) His inmense popularity. 2) Cyclops has to hit Wolverine, he may miss, also Wolverine can sneak on Cyclops and he is dead meat. Cyclops only has his optic blasts beside that anyone can take him , a sniper, a cop shooting him, stabbing , well you get the point he has normal human vulnerabilty. To state it on another way Wolverine just might survive a full blast from Cyclops, while Cyclops cant survive the claws.
