  • Awesome song.

  • she cut her clit off.

  • sure serge is proud of her)

  • reminds me to chris tanzi

  • what a great voice

  • silk like voice !!!

  • Yeah, she looks like a hot version of patti smith

  • We might be listening to/looking at a True Angel from Heaven! this song and her voice are both exciting and relaxing at the same time...that is rare!

  • me encanta la Gainsbourg

  • I loooooove this song!

  • Bardzo fajnie śpiewa [inaczej, bez pozy] przyjemnie posłuchać i popatrzeć

  • fantastique!

  • Who wrote or recorded this song originally? It wasn't written by Charlotte G was it?!

  • @WilburyVision It was written by Jarvis Cocker of Pulp fame

  • @Maxurai2222 Ah thanks! Gather Neil Hannon was also involved in there too along with Jarvis.

  • She is brilliant!

What a nice song, relaxing melody and right message.

  • Melodically has it's moments - and Charlotte's voice beautiful in it... but musically it's kinds amateur-sounding in the chorus. I don;t know how to explain that. The spooky bridge is good.

  • mmmmmhhhhhh

  • yes, it means a lot to me. fantastic. love it. you're dead? I'm alive because of you.

  • if her accent sounds perfect it thanks to her mother who is english, Charlotte gots the double nationality.

She's a a real artist, i love her voice, her univers, the way she acts in moveis, and above all she has herited of her father's genius (and mother too) thats for sure why we can say that the amazing Serge isnt really dead, he lives in her daughter, anyway she is by herself an artist by the way.

  • Voice very reminiscent of Sarah Blackwood of 90's Brit group Dubstar, especially the harmony parts.

  • this song always make me sad, in a good way....so full of emotion and love....kisses to charlotte

  • great ........... lots of love

  • J'adore cette chanson <3

  • cocotte meilleurs en anglais qu'en français!!!

  • Super beau !

  • She is so incredibly pretty, and has such a beautiful voice... and she also can act. Holy shit.

  • I love you, Charlotte!

  • wo sind le neige die vergangenheit...

oh charlotte, its francois villion who wanders those streets

afraid that the hangman will steal all he treats

and the boys in the band have a back beat

but no one can find the photo spread sheet

  • Having trouble enjoying Charlotte now after the movie...guess i've only got myself to blame.

  • I love her voice

  • Hmmm.... the studio setting. Perhaps obvious as the song is about singing, and meaning and cynicism and dismissiveness.. and if people are listening, and if singers are serious and want to be listened to.

But notice the flickering lights, the rooms empty except for equipment, the unused microphone sockets, the shadows from off camera, and, finally the glance of someone in a shot. I see it as a ghost inhabiting the studio.

  • @occupiedmexico

Who is the ghost? Her father... the people who have been or want to be helped by a singing... if just a connection to it?

  • Reminds me of The Beatles a little bit...

  • oops! shoulda been wacthing the video! It is AIR

  • did AIR have anything to do with this track, music reminds me a lot of AIR. I know she done some vocals for them, perhaps they returned the favour!

  • @macionractaigh yes aIR WORKED WITH HER ON THIS RECORD, IF U DONT HAVE IT, GET IT, FANTASTIC

  • envoutant....un petit air de Francoise Hardy at times...

  • she got my attention

  • love it!

  • she looks like feist

  • she looks a bit like Patti Smith...

  • @desasterz yeah, I see that but much prettier...and more sultry! She is mesmerizing! It's like you can't stop looking at her or listening to her!

  • @desasterz so true. in this world of illusions.

  • @desasterz oh! too much!

  • @desasterz She's better then Patti Smith.

  • But way mooooore pretty!

  • @desasterz ...good spotting! A bit like though? More like a lot like! She should play Patti in a biopic!!!

  • @desasterz you should see her half-sister Lou.

  • its a good song, i heard it from the uninvited, she puts it on her ipod, and it shows like a scenery kind of stare into nothing kind of mood ya know, its a good song none the less

  • It sounds 70's is not it ? I like it !

  • No, it's 2006 haha! =)

  • @wroleSwayne Yeah i know that's why the song is good

  • I love this song!...And I like female vocals so rarelly...

  • she looks like Kira knightley

  • @sweeto57 yeah, totally sexy!

  • idk the connection between this and The Uninvited, but there both great! it's my fav. movie btw

Lol!! C'est en hommage à son père.

  • T'es sûre ? T'as des sources ?

  • havent seen uninvited...but i feel like i heard this before

...is it on any other soundtracks or commercials?

  • (L)

  • Beck was in the studio recording with her this year, in production for her new album. He was heavily influenced by her father. I wonder if they met through their Michel Gondry connection?

  • I've been in love with this song ever since I heard it on the "Uninvited" --Great movie by the way, and totally awesome song!! LOVE IT!! :D

  • Me too. First saw that movie yesterday and fell in love with the movie and the song at the same time.

  • totally

i just saw the movie like 5mins ago

and it was awesome loved it, and

i heard the song and was like

'i have to get the movie and that song' lol :]]
