Every year you get a check from from the federal government for an earned income credit for anywhere from $1500 - $5000, depending on the number of kids you have. You don't even have to live here. You can just cruise up every February to pick it up.
Weld County pulled up over a hundred checks (from deportees) two years ago. Guess what? The Feds sued them for investigating it.
