usually i stick to OPI or butter london (i like butter london better but I rarely run into their products; i live in vancouver. I usually find them in really exclusive boutiques) but OPI is everywhere.

well its useful because it works for all lipsticks.

its annoying to have to buy a matching lipliner with every new liptick or trying use one you already have (this sucks because the color of the lipstick won't be as true).

however, its necessary to use a lipliner to stop feathering and make your lipstick last longer.

so that's the point of a clear lipliner :)

in new zealand 'drug store makeup' is normal makeup. maybelline products are around 20, loreal 30 and revlon 40. and the dollar is pretty close to american. when i went to america everything was a couple of dollars it was amazing but i didnt stock up enough! anyway im a big fan. im making my way thru all of your videos!

You can buy elf online, and find most everything. If they're out of something, you can be notified when they have it in stock again. Their shipping is reasonable as well. I love them.

i think because the company that manufactures them is based in the US and they have to pay the transport. Its like the brank Bourjois in Paris it's like drugstore makeup but in the US it costs as much as chanel

The Revlon creams give me really bad skin reactions, burning sensation...

And the VS make-up is really really bad...I have the black eyeshadow...you have to dig into it and it goes on really hard, very unblendable. :(

I have a very oily t-zone -- I got the "start to finish rice poweder" from everydayminerals. Rice powder is suppose to be very effective in curbing oiliness... perhaps you can give [rice powder] a try?

Big Lots is one of those stores where the leftovers from drugstores that they no longer sell go - it's how some drugstores get rid of their products so they don't lose money or something.

haha, i just got a recent order from EM with the light olive, winged butter and mint concealer too. i guess we might have similar skin tone, what i've been using is a mixture of the medium beige neutral, intensive medium(concealer but i use as foundation)and teeny bit of medium tan . i love the sunday brunch blush from EM, just a little bit though, too much doesnt look good.

hi! you should try the new everyday minerals start to finish powder (under finishing powders). its very good for oil control. I have an oily complexion too, and it keeps oil at bay for the whole day, like 9hrs? :) Hope you like it as much as I do! Its loose powder though....
