I am not talking about the amount of weapons the russians have or have not, but about the russians as a military force. As I said, Russia is maybe just a shadow of its former glory, but they still make a formidable fighting force in all aspects. Their equipment might not match the US, but they are still to be feared.

Only thing Ive talked about was and I say it again, that the russian military might not be as strong as it once were, but that still doesnt change the fact that the russian army is a formidable foe, even for the US army. Its true the US have some of the most advanced technology, but the russian equipment arent half bad

Im danish myself and yeah Denmark is a part of NATO even founding member, but that doesnt mean that I approve of everything NATO does, again its far from everything the NATO members do that I myself approve of.

@Kornsnogen It's a funny thing about "YOU". You see, Denmark is a small country, Russia is huge. And, during the Soviet times, it was closed. So you are probably right, we have a bit of a claustrophobic understanding of the rest oа the world, that is why I used the world YOU to you meaning NATO.
The problem is, AEGIS is still being built. And Nato is still expanding. You might be a good guy but... Jackson-Venik amendment is still in force. After a quarter of a century.

@T80s lol. Korea was a invasion after the US led-UN forces went into North Korea. However, Vietnam was not. South Vietnam was our ally. US regular troops never went past the border into North Vietnam. As well as any neighboring countries that the NVA used as supply lines. Bombing isn't count as invading. Russia soldiers invade and occupied Hungary and many other countries. Our troop were allowed to settle in. Cuba couldn't do anything since US did buy the bay. It was force; however US pay much.
