  • nailed it.

  • Astounding! I hate it took me 2 years before I heard this brilliance!!

  • Brilliant!

  • I cry a little everytime I hear this song. It is my favourite.... Amazing, just amazing!

  • im not crying, my eyes are just sweaty. this is my favorite song. ever.

  • The man in the shop looks like Bob The Dawn Treader in The boat that rocked.

  • Mmmmm this song just makes me whole.

  • Really enjoyed this song, You have a wonderful sound that is distinct and profound. Adding to my Youtube to share thanks again.

  • dude has got the meanest butt chin i've ever seen

  • This video's description is spot on.

  • @jstackk agreed.

  • Imagine just walking into this music shop on a whim and by happenstance finding The Tallest Man On Earth casually playing a 200 year old guitar in the back.

  • I'd like to think there are very very bored people out there like "hehehahha yeah lets piss off people on youtube by disliking the most remarkable artists in existence out of pure inhumane spite" and its these people that should be fertilizing those roses

lol jk didnt mean to imply i wanna kill anyone

    just a goddamn beautiful song

  • this guy is the dogs only hope he can be as prolific as dylan

my favourite artist in the last 20 years

  • 3 people are deaf.

  • I've been reading some comments from this beautiful man, and I stumbled upon this great pun about The Tallest Man On Earth! If someone knows what I'm talking about, help me out because I can't remember what it was! It was a good oneeee

  • @krispychicken12: was it something like: your campfires would be the best if he was one of your mates? Would you be surprised if unicorns came out of the woods?... That one was awesome

  • jag älskart

  • I like how he's just chillin' in his vest. haha beautiful man

  • I've been modeling most of my music around the sounds Kristian Matsson masterfully creates. What he does is amazing. I actually just made music video for a song with a similar theme.

If any of you have a moment, I'd be interested to hear what others think of my music. I have the music video on my channel. Let me know what you think!

  • Somewhere there's a person...who gets paid to dislike videos.

  • almost too beautiful for my ears

  • hÏhi_I_fèél_sÖ_lòñEly_tÖDAy

  • "In yooooooooooooooooour eyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyes!!!!..........

    babe"

  • The best music, in the best surrounding!

I'd love to spend hours in that shop, just looking at things :)

  • That guitar, I love it so much.

  • He looks like a seventies porn star. Good song though.

  • So... many...instruments....

And such good music. I would love to play and explore this place. This song is amazing as well.

  • what a pretty song. what a pretty guitar. what a pretty shop.

  • I would have loved to walk in on this.

  • @WhiskeyTango12 thatd be better than walking in on two hot babes doin it and then asking you to join :o

  • i'm coming here to buy a guitar.

  • i really love his sound !!!!so awesome!!!!

  • This place looks magical

  • Speechless

  • @auguitar05 Actually, dickhead, some people do. I found that story very interesting to be quite honest. I never would have guessed the singer despised society's reliance on technology, and that the old man suffered from chronic heletosis. Seems a bit irrelevant that i find that interesting, but i believe it just paints a far more concise picture for people who view it in the future.

  • Amazing really....

  • SO NOW HE'S BURIED BY THE LILIES

  • and he wore a European style sweater, colored blue with small riffs in the material. He saw my New England Patriots winter hat and remarked I must be crazy to wear it in New York. This is my memory of my time with him. Listen to him, support him, and try you damn hardest to spread his good word. God blesses us with few great song writers, writers of novels, and writers of hope and suffering, and to listen to them is to listen to ourselves

  • in a coffee shop and both our cellphones rang and neither of us answered them. We got to talking about how we hated the reliance on cell phones and he liked that though I was just 19 at the time I saw that true purity lies in the personal conversations. Getting to know someones suffering and hopes and dreams and faith. Get to know that he said, and you will forever know the human spirit. We had both finished The Brothers Karamazov and it was our favorite book ever. The Sky was a wintery gray,

  • I've met both guys in this video. The man who works the shop struggles from chronic heletosis (sp?). He's very nice but his breath makes him seem too nice. Literally evertime he gives you dap or a hug you feel like you've sunk into the sewage of hell. The man from Tallest Man on Earth, who I'm seeing in DC for lunch Sunday afternoon the 3rd? of October, then seeing perform at a lovely but small venue just outside of Georgetown, is about the kindest man I've met. We were (to be continued)

  • @jm5dg You know, even if you made that up, which maybe you did or maybe you didn't, you should become a story teller.

  • I want to go to there.

  • saw him in dallas last night, never before has an artist caused me to smile the entire show. i felt more happy than i have ever been. he is incredible.

  • nvr heard of this guy before this vid... I must say.... amazing

  • ive been here... was slighty scary but amazing all the same

  • i think he sounds slightly like daniel johnston

  • i love that place its like an archive of musicality like something from a book and yo just imagine walking in and feeling right at home. For some reason I also really like the way he caasually gets up and starts fiddling with the lute thing :L

  • thank you music...thank you julie...thank you God...thank you for gardens and wonderful musicians.

  • He's damn good.

  • god I love this guy

  • i'm pickin up what he's puttin down. and so is everyone else.

  • I lie. But there is no one dancing in my fake garden.

  • He gets such great sound out of the guitar, so full of passion! I think he is definitely the best folk singer around.

  • does anyone know where i can find the tabs for the bridge or interlude or whatever it's called the guitar part between the third and fourth verses

  • what I love about this video is that you can hear the sound vibrating off of the drums

  • oh he is lovely isnt he. im buying tickets now. i could feel my heart swell and my emotions overflow as he sang. that only happens to me when i truly find music that is "me"

  • this was awesome.

  • it takes a long time to look like you just woke up

  • ..hoooonk

  • Really liking this guy. The Wild Hunt is FANTASTIC

  • Love this

  • Beautiful.

  • this guy is probably one of the most talented songwriters/guitar player out there

  • great!!!

  • amazing man, amazing song, amazing location :')

  • maybe his sweetest song on this album

  • He's got this real Dylan meets Waits thing going on.

One of the most beautifully unique artists I've heard in years.

  • Where is this at?

  • Music Inn on West 4th Street in Greenwich Village

  • @julienmomo44 greenwich, southeast london?

  • @MrPocketGroover lol im pretty sure its the famous greenwich village in new york, not greenwich in london

  • Holy crap, is this where I think it is? I think I've stumbled into this place once or twice.

  • where is it?

    greenwich village?

  • Music Inn on West 4th Street in Greenwich Village

  • He looks like a young John Prine!

  • my generations tom waits. what it is to be young and full of love. this is amazing.

  • Even though I know I can press the play button and start it over whenever I want, I still get a little sad every time it ends.

  • This version is far beyond anything I've ever heard. His voice slices my heart in half in this video... the album version is good as well, but this is indescribable.

  • it sounds so much better on that guitar than on the one he uses in his album.

  • Comment removed

  • I think he said: "It's from the 1800's"

  • iam pretty sure i heard that too

  • holy crap
