It depends on the rule of the tournament, in this case there was no such rule. I've only played one tournament ever with this rule, it was the Mind Sports Games in Beijing, China in 2008. Of course when there is such a rule one plays much more carefully :-)
maan, i can't belive. i love you *--* i'm 16 and since i was 14 i guess i watch your movies, i beat very strong players and i play basically your reppertoire *--*. could you send me an autograph?
It seems that f7 was hanging, correct me if I'm wrong...the move before Qc7, which I thought was indicated instead of Nf5 for Black. Anyway, getting such a good position in the Pianissimo is hard...good game.
I know you/she use to play on ICC years ago withe the handle of Kostenink. I'm wondering if she's on there with a different handle because I'd love to watch her games.
I quit ICC because one day I won a blitz tournament there, and they disqualified me because they said I cheated, that was enough for me to stop. I do play on other internet playing sites, but usually anonymously, to train new openings.
I don't know, admins do what they want it seems. I play on a different site now. But I only play online to train new openings and not too many games at once, otherwise it's too much work to go over the games later.
Perhaps they didn't want to share the prizes with those on the inside. It seems the same people win the big prizes. Starwars and that guy who won (spelling) Dos Hermanes seem to keep winning. It's hard to think any site would think someone like you would cheat. It's not like it's someone who came out of no where. Good luck to you and your training. I hope to see you challenge for the World Championship again.
Why did you not play d5 instead of d6? Isn't that the whole idea behind the Ba7 line---to delay d6 in hope of playing d5 in a single tempo?

I saw that you hit your clock after knocking down the chess piece (King) . Shouldn't that have disqualified you??

Why evidence did they have for you cheating? I know you didn't cheat, but I am wondering why they thought you did?
EternalEnigma314 3 years ago
They can't have any evidence, it's purely subjective I believe.

I have a question for Alexandra or her Husband.
I know you/she use to play on ICC years ago withe the handle of Kostenink. I'm wondering if she's on there with a different handle because I'd love to watch her games.

I don't play on ICC anymore.
ChessQueen 3 years ago
Can I ask why? I was woundering if she found a different site, where you enjoy playing more?
