I'm sorry man, but that G35 let off towards the end of the race.. he got the jump on you at the line, but as you can see, his lead continues to grow until he lets off.. an automatic 04 max with an intake will not beat a 6 speed G35 with 15 extra HP worth of mods. Even if the G35 was stock automatic, he still would have taken the win.
o i didnt relize you had the 6th gen i was refering to the 5th i think some1 posted talking about how he just upgraded from a max to a G and he loved the mod options but yea jus like the G some are jus outa my price range lol but arent u FWD?
yea ive heard that they dont make many mods for the maxima that has to suck but u might could roll wit a G sedan 5AT wit like 5 ppl a full tank of gas a crap load of stuff in the trunk rollin on 24's and all the windows down lol
haha... and you're incorrect. We actually have quite a few mods for the 6th gen maximas 04-06's. When you get a chance check out maxima . org and you'll see some of our member already have turbos on their max's from like 2yrs ago. We have both cosmetic and performance parts. And more and more member have been approaching performance parts makers to have them make mods for our cars... but some of those i just can't afford. LOL...
idk it looked like he shifted really quick it could have been a 5AT wit it in tht tip shift i used to have one like tht and he had windows down which is like the worst thing you can do in a high speed race
yea... i'm pushing a 4sp automatic, pretty sure he had a manual 6sp plus like 15more hp. I was just being bugging out with the comments. I figured i could at least be by his tails. I wonder how much better it would have been if we both had hit the gas on green?
Im thinking he let off? I was under the impression that the Infinity and the max had the same 3.5 V6. That correct?

Yep they did... dunno why they did that. the later sl models carry 5gears. the first 04SE's all have 5gears

hells no they wont my dads has owned a infiniti dealership since 2000.
iv driven probably 50 something different g35's and non of them has wheel spin when shifting in tiprtonic but the stick shifts did.
nt even the g37 that i had last night get wheel spin when shifting in tiptronic unless it raining.
