Laos & Thia (Tai) are the same people. It is just too bad that some country leaders are more Evil than the other - no need to mention the name of country here. And we all knew that in Lao, people are more EQUAL. It's just unfortunate that the Sisters & Bros on the other side of the river are not so lucky.
Hello! Let me tell you what i think as a Laos person.
Yes, we lost the war to Siam. However, i do believe many laos peoples does not want to become Thailand. I can not answer to everyone. But, i know for a fact that i love myself and respect myself to much.
Over my dead body that i never ever think and want to become Thais person. No one can not buy my pride and dignity. My family race me well and love who i am and where i came from and respect other peoples. We also were a colony by French but we dont want to be French citizen..
However, i also know many laos peoples dont want to be Thais and hate thais. I dont hate thais, but i do believe karma. I have cousin who is thais-chinese live in thailand. But, i never want to be like them. I even speaking laos to them, not thais. I never want to be like anybody. Likewise, i am proud to be Laos, and who i am, where i came from and I love myself so much that there is nothing wil change me.
Honestly, i think is very stupid if anyone want to be other race then you own. You should always love who you are....Like i said i cant answer for everyone else.

Nowadays, u know the evil that your country did to my country came back to your country already as a sin and couldnt forgive at all. please know that no laotian wanna become thai and live in thailand at all. we have places to live and no need to live in ur country. please know also that" Laos is not a part of thailand"
