All of these videos use compression or extension springs, where they explicitly show in the game that the hidden blade uses a reloading torsion spring. Connect this to a chain and you've got full double action motion. No gravity, no sliding trigger. I built mine that way and it works.
It's very simmalar to mine but mine is way Les complex my consist of 2 springs and to locking mecs if u want I'll send u a vid of how mine works and who knows mabie ull build it
@deathbutt09 because it would make a lot of noise and it would need to be recharged after a couple of uses (but where would you put the battery anyway?) The hidden blade is all about stealth. It would also require lots of wiring and programming and you would still have to put a blade inside it which could damage the wiring. A mechanical hidden blade is more basic and less noisy as well. Besides, who would want a "rechargable hidden blade"?
