Can't help but hear "Midnight Swim" by Incubus when I listen to this song. They did list Soundgarden as an influence, after all. Haha. Flawless, just flawless!!
I live in America and I bought this CD about a year ago (maybe less I'm not sure) and it's always been one of my favorites ever. When my friend from Australia asked for a recommendation on what to buy I suggested this and she bought it and she got this bonus track. Oh, the envy.
this song is so good especially the verses... i just wish they added 1 more verse because after the second verse, it goes a lil downhill (i'm not a huge metal fan). very unique song tho!
Why did they leave this off the North American release??
It sounds about halfway between Superunknown and Down on the Upside. They should have released another album between those two albums that was just all songs like this!
@Cosmickey86 maybe thats y they left it off the north american version, maybe they wanted every song on the record to feel alike. like u say this sounds like a halfway mix of superunknown and down on the upside. thats jst wat i think abt it
Soundgarden is the best grunge band of all times and A-Sides and especially this masterpiece proves that...i love this band...Chris Cornell and the whole band are pure rock legends!!!!!!Kim Thayil is the greatest grunge guitarist!!!!!
This is absolutely amazing, especially that hook after each verse....insane guitar riffs....sucks it has to stop....this band had everything didn't it? whew!!!
Very Beatles-esque.

Superunknown was one of the best albums of the 90's. It's little wonder many of the other best albums came from Seattle too.

@jdidnoid Is it really a theremin?
PQleyR 1 year ago
@PQleyR I'm pretty sure. It's very brief but it has that signature eerie sound.
jdidnoid 1 year ago
@jdidnoid That isnt a thermin, that's Cornell doing falsetto with his voice. lol
