One of the first ever build engines with inner combustion. These engines had no crankshaft, but a very gorgeous mechanic to transfer power to the flywheelshaft. It could run on the same gas that was used for kitchen cookers.

Yep, it's an atmospheric engine based on the Otto principle.

I beleive thats a Crossley atmospheric engine. Still a combustion engine though!
