Beck isn't trying to copy this song. It is merely his interpretation of Hank's song. So if he doesn't sound exactly like Hank Williams that's okay. He's not trying to.

Sorry, not convincing enough for me...Just because it's an easy chord progression everyone thinks they can pull off ol' Hank...Few can even relate to the song...So I say, do something else, be creative and don't butcher these classics...But if you HAVE to play the classics, at least put some feel into it.
