He did the same thing with Rudy (Season 1). Persons with whom Dexter had a sentimental attachment got a 'special treatment' in the form of additional modesty. Rudy was offered a tranquilizer as well, but clearly that was neglected here.
Lila was also clothed when Dexter killed her in Season 2, but I think that was more for the sense of brevity than personal concern, seeing as they were sexually familiar with one another.
@Dragodemon000 He does it with his normal victims, which he then cuts into pieces. But he used Miguel as a supposed victim of the Skinner, so if he took his clothes off, he would have had to put them on again lol.
That does make more sense, come to think of it. Lila was left in a body bag, Rudy was left for the police to find, and Miguel was pawned off for another killer to take the blame. The only other exception I can think of is Jordan Chase, and he was...well, I don't want to spoil anything. But the spontaneity of the situation left Dexter unsupplied for that kill.
i think miguel had potential to be a sidekick. obviously not all the time. but say they brought him back in another season and he helped dexter kill someone else....
The beginning of season 3 was pretty shitty but I gotta admit it slowly became my second favorite season of Dexter...Nobody will top The Ice Truck Killer.
Miguel was the best character and gave a lot to think about...like did he know Dexter was a murderer in the beginning, when did he start going crazy, etc. Him and Dexter were so awesome together.
@SerenaBlackCat Are you kidding? Miguel was just an annoying little insect.. I'm so glad they don't have him anymore in the show.. Jimmy Smits was awesome but Miguel was the worst villain this show had.. Rudy Cooper/Brian Moser gives you alot more to think about than Miguel.. Its like you actually feel sympathetic towards him, and Miguel is more like 'the get rid of the trash' type of a person.
@DGK4LIFE8293 Season 3 has to be the worst season.. No suspence, no action, no thrills, no cliffhangers, no intensity.. Nothing at all.. It was just boring, and light.
good scene but he forgot to put a plastic band on his forehead.

Your logic is far more sound.

Oh, and there was also the redneck who Dexter met in the bathroom, and Dan the Dentist. Also, spontaneity of the situation.

MCH is absolutely brilliant in this scene. He makes the PERFECT Dexter.
"No! No. No no no. I know I'm a monster."
