Personally I don't see any point in watching or encoding/decoding 1080p vids on a netbook. A netbook doesn't even have enough resolution to display HD in full glory.

I know what you mean, but my point was that it's overkill, over expensive and over sized for a netbook.

this is more of an ultraportable laptop...but even in that category it becomes too "weak" but becomes less pricey.

I just got the 1008ha...with me, netbooks are more about size and cost ;)
