why is the battlion behind the engine? and whats the vechicle that looks like an old battlion parked on the street? and why didnt they park the battlion in its regular garage?
@HaloSpaceAgency there is no regular garage for the batt, its always parked in the middle between engine and ladder. The old GMC is the borough command vehicle, normally parked in the third bay.
@DutchieKev it said on the 10 years on, he is on some anti terrisom team at headquaters, they plan for attacks like september 11th incase something like that happened again, hope that helps bro
I am from the UK and have full respect for the FDNY. No words can describe the true courage and bravery those Firefighters had that day. I think deep down they didnt have a clue how those events would finish but that never stopped any of them from grabbing their gear and making their way up those stairs.
Ladder 3 was one of the worst hit Companies, they had 12 riding that engine, including off duty members. All 12 sadly perished.
how would i go about joining the America fire sevice i currently live in the uk i am only 18 and i know i would have to move to america but what ees would i have to do
@barron054 Well like you said you'd have to move here, you'd then of course have to get a drivers license and then get certified, depending where you are they may require different things. I for instance am a firefighter in South Carolina and this state goes by IFSAC certification, where as if I go across the river to Georgia I have to have a different certification. Some states also require you to be an EMT as well, it isnt hard tho to get on the right track to being a firefighter.
@MetalSanke Unfortunately you are wrong. While the firefighters from E7/L1/B1 were some of the first firefighters on scene, the true credit for being first on scene goes to the firefighters of E10/L10 from "Ten House" and for obvious reasons, their station is located right across the street from where the towers once stood, and it was actually badly damaged in the collapse and almost closed by the FDNY until it was repaired. I believe they lost their entire shift that day as well.

@MetalSanke One of the first. E-10 and L-10 were right there, their house just across the street from the WTC.
