  • I hope to be able to do poorly as well as you do poorly, but that's going to be a lot of practice for me. I thought it sounded pretty good.

That sounded so good, I'll have to learn a Malaguena for my uke, but probably a different one. Everyone already does the Lecuona Malaguena.

  • Exceptional!

Namaste (The light in me; honors the light in you)

  • Thank you very much!

  • Do you have the tab for this? I got the first part down, but I can't figure out the rest by watching/listening alone. Would love the uke tab. Thanks!

  • @sugartasticjames Sorry, don't have tabs for this. If I could remember right, it's only four chords Dm, C, Bb, A with picking and strumming pattern changes and few melody notes added.

  • i have the same uke :)

  • Good choice, I like this uke a lot :)

  • This is the very first song I learned on the guitar. I love flamenco!

  • @guitarplayingmommy Hehe, but this is just a ukulele :-) You may want to watch the sevillanas as well if you're interesting in flamenco on a ukulele. It's fun, but flamenco is definitely made for guitar, I agree.

  • You, sir, are awesome!

  • @bettycracker Thanks, madame! I'm glad you like it, but I'm not that happy with it, that's why I marked it experimental.

  • Spaghetti Western. Pretty good pickin.

  • really nice! I added this to my list of things to try :)

  • Thanks, I'm glad to spread the fire of flamenco :-)

  • I like that flamenco style on the uke it sounds so nice! I'll have to try it.

  • It's my pleasure that you enjoyed it! Give it a try :-)

  • How does the Kala Acacia Tenor Stack up to other ukes you've played?

    What is the tone like?

    What's the action like?

    Quite a beautiful instrument

  • Difficult questions :-) I use different ukes for different music styles or just pieces. But out of all, the Kala Acacia is my favourite. With lowG mounted I recognize something like a bass tone ;-) The action was not bad by factory but I modified a bit anyway. The tone in general I would describe as warm and mellow depending on the strings used; with aquilas more aggressive, with Worth very soft. A bit more treble would be nice for my ears, but this may depend also on the player. I recommend it.

  • Wie passend,

bei uns gibt´s heute Abend Paella :)))

Sehr schön gespielt Jens gefällt mir sehr gut.

  • Gracias Tom :-) Und guten Appetit.

  • Great! ;°)

  • Merci :-)

  • Very nice! Ive been wanting to try something like this.

  • Thank you, watch out for some flamenco technique lessons :-)

  • Olé! Das bringt Feuer in den Frühling! Wunderbar!! :)

  • Dank dir, wird auch Zeit für den Frühling!

  • olé!

    great picking!

  • Vielen Dank Fritz!

  • Wonderful the sun is shining now. John

  • Thanks! Hehehe, actually 16°C and raining in Malaga, Spain.

  • Superb! I hope I can play like this one day!

  • Thank you! You can learn so much techniques on uke, this instrument is a huge open field to have fun with only 4 strings for 4 fingers :-)

  • Beautiful!

  • Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!

  • Da fällt mir nichts mehr ein.

    Wunderschönes "Genudle"

Das ist dann dein Beitrag für Dienstag :)

  • Da fehlt so einiges an dem Stück. Am Dienstag reicht es nur für Schüttel-Ei ;-)

  • Good job. Great sound.

What kind of uke are you using???

  • It's a Kala Acacia tenor with low-G string and golpeadores (pickguards) installed.

  • Fantastic! What happens when your team scores a goal?

  • My team scores 0:0 yesterday :-')

  • That sounds cool......really nice kala.....i was debating whether to get that one

  • Thank you :-) I can recommend this uke without doubt.

  • Ausgezeichnet! Your ukulele flamenco is magnificent! Thank you for sharing this!

  • Thanks! I hope I can expand some more techniques and sounds on the uke :-)

  • Great stuff! I think you're ready to hit Spain!

  • I wish I could. I'm afraid most tocaores would laugh at the kids guitar :D I have fun with it, but flamenco is a really serious genre based on cante (singing).
