What year is it? That makes a huge difference.  If 88 or newer...probably 5,000. If older than 85, maybe 1000.

My wetbike sat in the garage for years taking a back seat to my boat. I actually have two wetbikes, my 87 is a 60 hp Silverstreak with the Metton body style. The other is a 85, 50 hp with the fiber glass body style. if anyone is interested in purchasing one let me know.

This brings back memories for me on Lake Hamilton in Arkansas. Got one when I was ten (1981) for making good grades. lol Riding the front ski over the handlebars that summer. Jumping cabin cruiser wakes that would plow for me and breaking two front skiis and one rear ski (my folks were pissed)! I didn't even know what a superman was at that age, but was pullin them off the second wake of curious boaters. Ahh those were the days. Eventually switched to the jet ski for tricks though.

Awesome Video! My step dad bought one in the early 80's. It sat in the barn for ten years and never ran. Last summer I got in running and now I ride it more than my new Jet Ski. I love it!

i wish suzuki stuck it out....i love the wet-bike.....don't get me wrong pwc's are amazing but the wet-bike has a dirt bike feel rather than a snowmobile feel.....i just wish u could choose either...

We had two growing up. I learded how to barefoot while holding onto the handel bars and hanging off the right side. 12 stiches and a scare on me eyebrow to prove it. Still A sh*t load of fun!!!!!!!!

I've had two wetbikes an 87,88 both were a gas while I had them friends would ride with me when I went to the lake one of my friends rode the bike backwards at that point he was the KING(Rockey Johnson)

A friend of mine found 1 for 50 bucks, had only a few hours work but engine was destroyed. I replaced it with a suzuki outboard engine we matched with old suzuki parts catalogues off the net!! enging was almost identical but the flywheel had to be swapped. Now, Its spot on and so much fun!!!

Despite the difficulty it appears these guys are having getting up and riding these, I can testify that between a Wetbike, JetSki and WaveRunner, the Wetbike is the easiest to get up on and ride.
