  • Kitchen reverb! :)

  • Yah, I got one of these a few years ago. It has such a big crungh for such a small amplifier. It's great for playing pinch harmonics or playing stuff like Metallica. I love playing Enter Sandman with this. And It's real cheap.

  • Good GOD, that thing puts out some volume for such a small amp. Just may have to get one.

  • put the kettle on while ya there......:) i just bought one of these babies, cant wait for the post.......arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh cool.

  • This amp is sick. I love it love it love it. It's small, got cool effects, and loud. Sounds clean and the ability to take quality sounds wherever you go on 6 bAtteries is phenominal. I play roughly 3 hours or more a day and for a week now I've been around my house, not even plugged in. Battery life is awesome and looong. This thing is sweet.

  • how loud do these go?

  • Those mini humbuckers sound nasty! Love it!

  • Rock that kitchen!

  • When i grow up, i wanna be as old & as cool as you!! :D :D :D

  • VOODOO CHILD boy HENDRX 4EVER

  • Ya know.....The Older I get, the more I enjoy seeing and listening to players my own age or older.....Why even bother commenting on someone's age. Especially if they can play their instrument and are entertaining to boot. Great Playing Cimberly. Kick Ass.

  • This amp is absolutely AWESOME for the size and the price. It sounds great and perfect for practice - added bonus: it takes AA batteries and has holes for a guitar strap, so you can wear it with your guitar :p

In the summer I take mine to BBQs and plug iPods in to the AUX input also - will last all day on 6 batteries.

  • This grandpa is the coolest Grandpa out there.....BTW nice looking Gibson Les Paul Deluxe.

  • It is a great little practice amp.....I own one.....can't think of a better practice amp.

  • I Want The R-Fier Setting!!

  • I wonder how my crate gx 65 combo amp would sound with my zoom pedal? Scary maybe? Ha ha

  • Bidding for one on Ebay as we speak.

  • how loud is this amp? i am afraid that this amp is to quiet for an acustic session! thanks for answers! nice greets

  • yea, I actually have one of these amps at home, but When you play to loud in acoustic, It Sounds Horrible when you pluck the strings hard, Unless your gonna do some quiet plucking but with a loud setting volume, than your good

  • Pops has chops! Sounds better than my 100 Watt Yamaha dual speaker rig, which is too damn loud to even get out of the ex's garage.

  • Gramps knows his amps :D

Thanks for the video, I'm considering buying this now :)

  • I bought it off a mate 2nd hand for £40, and tbh, its better than my 200 watt amp

  • Seriously if you consider buying this then do it, trust me its worth it!!

  • nice kitchen! i think i gonna buy that amp too. i just heard positiv statements about it...then i can play guitar in the kitchen too^^

  • i tink i am going too buy it too if u did tall me ur opinion

  • Okay... i'm thinking of getting it, but how many watts is it? Please give feed back!!!

  • 2 watts, but its a great amp, ive had mine for years and its still running on all cylinders

  • The FX version puts out 15 watts. Its an exceptional amp. I picked it up a few weeks ago for around 260$ canadian.

  • Comment removed

  • my microcube has been on backorder for 1 and a half months and im getting pissed...

  • 02:38 "Which I propably will never use..." :)

  • sweet guitar

  • gramps is awesome!..

  • I have this amp! :D

  • can we put a footswitch on this amp? did someone try? its just so hard to go back and forth to change the setting...

  • Is it a MINI-Les Paul?? haha XD

  • i take this amp to school! it's light and it sound great!

  • I have one of these!

They put out an awesome quality of sound for their size. I replaced my marshall with it lol.

I got a Boss distortion pedal to go with it, deadly combo for heavy metal xD

  • "i dont play grunge" but he does it so well.. lmao!

  • Great demo. Just bought one of these, can't wait for it. A young Junior Soprano! You rock!

  • Yeaah, i'm a voodoo child, lord knows i'm a voodoo child!

  • i got one and i love it, prolly my fav setting is R-fier with some reverb

  • you just convinced me to buy one of these

  • It sounds great, is it a solid state amp or a tube amp?

  • coolest old guy ever

  • yeah right

  • It Is Deffinatley 2 watts but it is a loud 2 watts. You aint gonna gig with it but for at home it is perfect, you can get any sound out of it as this guy demonstrates really well.

  • lol it can't be only 2 wats maybe 15,20,30 wats so dunno

  • commented for you to:) its 12 watts

  • Darn right this guy can play. He plays style on guitar when music was MUSIC. This generation just don't any soul or emotion. Guitar today doesn't move me like it used to.

  • omg how i'm just pissed off such comments! "yesterday, everything was better blah blah blah" come on, do you ever heard some real modern guitar music? i don't speak about the charts. listen to "see the sun" from the kooks. is it without emotion? listen to almost everything from rhcp, like "don't forget me" for example. they don't have soul? "local boy" from the rifles. is that a tune without passion?

  • is that a 30w or a 20w?

  • the cube is a 2 watt amp

  • its 12 watt amp, got it myself :)

  • its two watts, i have the marshall 10 watt, its no where near as loud on full..also i went the roland website and it said 2 watts

  • In Roland Website it says 2w, and the RX is 5w

I think it's 2w (At least according to roland), are you sure your amp is the roland micro cube and that it's 12w?

  • Don't about this one, But the bass version is 2 x 2.5Watts (stereo) for 5 Watts affective.

  • 2 watt actually

  • I would definitely recommend the line 6, because it has more features. Both amps are pretty durable, but I have owned both..so I would recommend the line 6.

  • gramps got paul

  • That's right. And GRAMPS can play your pants off...boy... :)

  • @Cimberly5 ha ha well said

  • i have MC amp!!!

  • Roland micro cube, no doubt, less versatile than the Line6 but MC rocks sound end quality.

  • a line 6 dude

  • pero como la mueve el aweloooooooo

  • spider was my first amp about 7 years ago, it's a great amp plus it's a good price. after you have been playing for a while you will begin to notice that the amp sound....digital or fake or thin somthing like that. Basically I joined a band (had a 30 watt) and my friends 20 watt fender sounded so much better tonally and I switched...then had to buy a bunch of foot pedals. but for learning I say go for it.

  • HELL YEAH!!! i have micro cube...its awesome dude

  • yuore a very good guitarist , thank you , you motivate me to buy one of these

  • Great demonstration, thank you for uploading this video.

  • i have this amp 2 watts i thought he was joking

  • this dude rocks 0__0

also, play more grunge lol! j/k

  • cool demo! and beautiful les paul too!

  • Hey! Very cool amp! You should do more vids?

    THanks,

    DAve

  • You rule brother, and so does the amp!

  • lol at super grunge. its a rectifier setting for metal.

  • Nice. Must be better than my squier amplifier. --. I want to get rid of that stupid thing.

  • Just bought one yesterday to use with my Ukulele ----- sounds awesome!

    Great demo by the way!!

  • Hey, does anyone preamp these through a larger amp just to pump up the sound? This is a better demo than the Roland dudes do. Moving to an apartment where I don't want to drive the neighbors nuts, this kicks ass, but now with the new RX models coming out.....dayum....at least I am set when it comes to the amps.

  • just got one last weekend and it rocks! for a 2 watt amp it pumps out a lot of power and sound!

  • yeah mines a b'day present so i haven't used it yet but is it fun/good?

  • yes i think its amazingly fun/good. the amp settings and effects are actually quite good just being off of an amp and i love messing with them. and he skipped some of the amp models that he won't use all of them are: acoustic, jc clean, black panel, brit combo, classic stack, metal, and R-Fier (a crazy hi-gain setting). and they're all fun to play with. mine also has rythm tracks for many styles of music which are fun to solo over

  • i use it know but i don't have the metal setting i thought R-Fier was the metal

  • just got one last weekend and it rocks! for a 2 watt amp it pumps out a lot of power and sound!

  • just got one last weekend and it rocks! for a 2 watt amp it pumps out a lot of power and sound!

  • About 100e, so its cheap.

  • Nice amp: I'm going to buy it.

Anyways, you're a damn good player.

  • gotta get me one of those

  • I own 2 5150 heads, the rectifier effect on this amp totally mimics the same sound without your neighbors calling the police.

By far the best little practice amp out there, and Ive tried them all.

There is no B.S presets that you will never use either.

  • very nice. i need to get lessons from a real guitarist like you. the metal stuff of my generation doesnt hold a candle to what your generation had in rock.

  • that think is a stomp box with speaker lol its cool

  • Great Demo, just wish I could play guitar, lol

  • gotta get this amp!

  • Nice.I have it also.its great.Your guitar looks great as well.

  • nice demo, I bought one of these last year at guiar show in birmingham England. The guitar stand we were on had these to demo there guitars, guitars were crap but the micro cube was awesome. I used to have a rack and a 4x12 but now just play at home and the cube does the business!

  • I run a Cube 60 through one of my 4x12s for some recording

  • Hey that is a cool demo. I have this amp also and I agree it is awsome, I love the fact that you look like you work in accounts but rock like you work in the Warehouse.Cool stuff.

  • Thanks for the response. I've been playing since 1964: First songs were Beach Boys.

Been through rock, including Stones, Led, Van, all of them, but always in the background- my roots, the Blues.

Don't let appearances fool you. We all have a little bit of soul in our hearts. Thanks again...

  • Sounds awesome thats for sure. What guitar is that? Well obviously an LP, but a copy or a Gibson?

  • It's a 1973 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe. I bought it in 73 for $471. More than a months take home pay for me back then. I love that guitar!
