  • I've broken a G-Wagen, a HMMWV, and tw 70-series Land Cruisers. I can break one of these :D

  • @orchidtender You haven't broken a Nissan Patrol yet though. The running gear on them is twice that of a land cruiser 70.

  • @1988farcry Challenge accepted!

  • Its made in this country by a French company. lol

  • @stalkingalizee It's not made by a French company, the company that makes it is owned by a French company.

France should buy some to replace the VBL's, those things wouldn't keep you safe from arab children throwing rocks.

  • @ArchbishopOfCombat18 If it is owned by a French company, it is made by a French company... duhr

VBL is a scout car, not a utility vehicle. PVP is the new AVL and it has the same Level 2 protection as the Hawkie.

  • @stalkingalizee French in name only, someone else could buy it tomorrow and nothing would change, i have a Citroen car, is it English because i own it? are you a fucking retard?

  • @pipboyjam, The price i cant comment on as i don't know, But $456,000 does seem a bit much, Then again it would probably come down in price with foreign sales.

As for the amount being ordered, 7,500 is WAY off, Max order is for 1,300 at the moment, and even then it could be less.

  • How much per vehicle?

  • @4271580 Heard it was something like $456 000 usd/au. I don't think that includes the ceramic armour kit though. Australian military has ordered 7500 of these.

  • aparently on another 1 it was only for military use not road and i was hoping we aussies get to keep the better version and sell the ok version to the world like south Africa so atleast we have a specialty

  • They haven't released it's price yet.

  • how much does it cost

  • that is a mad Ute

  • make a great tradie's ute, but you'd need a hell of a dog on the back.

  • we Bendigo people know how to build vehicles!!! :)

  • i would buy it - built australian = quality

  • Seriously awesome piece of Australian engineering - about time we got rid of the jeeps and replaced them with something tougher than a HMMWV haha

I wonder if they'll include a PTO on the Hawkei?
