  • I'm just glad i still have a copy of the album, CAD, would music be the same today ? dance music especially without the brothers Young, Colourbox and MARRS ?? probably not, IMHO.

  • The 'Fancy a pub crawl' sample comes from the 80's comedy show 'The Comic Strip Presents... The Bullshitters', a painfully accurate parody of the bloketastic cop shows on TV at the time [especially The Sweeney and The Professionals]. Cover Me! Great cut-up track, too, continuing a track and a bit later on the tape, if memory serves. I used to tape edit it to ridiculous length [45mins, once], as it's got lots of easy edit points. Top stuff!

  • @brianartillery you could be right... just love the Colourbox though, that's what it's there for :-)

  • 'We walk around the streets.'

    'It makes us angry.'

'We see chimneys, belching out smoke.'

'We see cars, belching out smoke.'

    'We see people, belching.'

'And who's responsible for all this pollution?'

    'We are.'

Terrific track, where's the rest of it though? Thanks for sharing.

  • @harrynicholas In the track listing, It's "\We walk around the streets." You'd be forgiven though, if you had the cassette tape (as I did), to think that the sound collage was continuous.

  • Hale and Pace, FACT

  • Fantastic! @ uni in London when this came out.

Opening quote always meant the weekend had officially begun :

    "Fancy a pub crawl?"

    "What... the whole of London?"

  • Thanks for posting, been looking for this on here for ages.

  • @amci1969 Me too! Thanks MaracaTastic.
