OK guys, here are the chords in order. 1st time through the verse, G maj. to
G maj.9th, F#, E min., C maj. Then, 2nd time through verse, same thing, but, after the C maj. chord, play A min., B min., A maj., C maj. Now, the third time through, play G maj., G maj.9th, F#, E Min., C, A min., B min., (no A maj. this time, instead,) C maj., then, D maj. Now, reapeat. Maybe you guys can print this out if it helps.
@98765432123456789987 No problem at all bro. We all have bad days man, no worries. And, I apologize as well. Its not very proffesional of me to react this way.
@666JoFox LOL, whats wrong with Capos? Some guitar players write their songs with them and thats the only way to play it. Good example " Here comes the sun" George Harrison and the Beatles. Almost every James Taylor tune too. They are a good thing too have, it helps with your voice too if you are having trouble singing in a certain key.
Sure, you can use your 2nd finger for the G chord, then, when he plays the F sharp note (one down from the G) use your first finger. It is still a stretch, but you should be able to do it with practice. When I started playing, there were some chords I thought, No Way can that happen, but in time, it does! Hope that helped!
what happened if your thumb is not long enough to reach the 6 string and play the other strings of the bottom how can i played it can you tell me another way to play it without using the thumb
Man, all I can really say is, keep pausing it until you get it. Thats how I figure songs out, I watch their hands very closely, then, pause, and go back and do it over and over. Hope that helps a little!!!
Thanks man, I couldn't find anything remotely close, so, I wanted to jam it with my daughter who sings it. So, I figured it out by ear. Thanks again! Dave
On this video, I do not hold up the chord charts but I do say what chords they are. The best advice I could give is, find an online guitar chord chart website, there are literally thousand out there for free. They are very helpful, because they show where each finger goes for each chord. I also have a video on here that shows basic major chords, try that too! Your English is fine! Thanks for writing! Dave
Oh man, the 10,000,000 dollar question.LOL To be honest, I am self taught and everyone asks me about strumming patterns on my videos. I honestly don't know how to explain that part, I wish I could help you!!! All I can say is, listen to the original very closely and just get in the groove. Even on this video, I had just learned the song and I am off a bit. I did it because my daughter is singing it in a talent show, so, I wanted to practice with her. He kinda chucks it, if that makes any sense.
You like my ghoulfriend?? LOL Glad you are learning the song!! Are you a beginner? I have a bunch more stuff if you want to check it out! Just search Dave the guitar guy.
Thanks again for writing, I really appreciate the feedback!
