  • looks like the Winchester manor in California, but more organized

  • Drive-by shootings just ain't what they used to be...

  • Nice video and awesome fitting soundeffects. A couple month ( Feb 09 ) ago I went there myself, I walked past this house and I even visited the little bookstore , BETTS BOOKSTORE. I almost bought one of his manuscripts ( unpublished ) for around $600.00. Then I would ve been broke. But it was so tempting

  • @brockpierce1984 Oooh didn't know about the bookstore, thanks. Guess we gotta go back.

  • @LiveWorkDream The bookstore is right near the West Broadway on Hammond Street. Its a little shed but with charme and has beside the usual King collection some special stuff, like signed books, manuscripts, collectors editions and rare out of print books. Plus T-Shirts with the face of the Master of Horror on it. I think its 585 Hammond Street

  • Love the house, the sound effects not so much!

  • yea... lets not call this a 'drive by shooting' lol

  • but, we "shot" the video! ;-)

  • @LiveWorkDream ur an idiot if u thought the title was clever

  • It's pretty obvious King wants people to photograph and video tape his house; why else would he have bats, three headed dragons and his NAME on the fence?? Thanks for posting.

  • @boardskins actually, he's kinda a HORROR writer. so, it seems fitting. i live like, right across the street and i guess you dont know that he also has a big stone frog in the garden. it's not like it's all about scary stuff??? and the name on the fence is no different than anyones name on the mailbox.

  • @boardskins It seems pretty obvious that he wants people / fans to know where he lives.

But when I walked there a couple month ago, there was no sign with his name on the fence or elsewhere.

  • i went by his place in the early 90s..was not sure where his place was..went to this little bookstore in Maine and asked this super friendly guy who was working there..gave us directions..just cool to see the house of one of the most famous writers ever & to know that inside those walls some of the bestselling and amazing books came to life there....rumour has it he is one of the nicest and most down-to-earth people....

  • Thanks for the comment!

  • @rhymeandreasoning That is total crap. King is a dipstick and will not even let trick or treaters go to his doors. You would think that he would hire a person to stand outside in costume or whatnot but each year he puts a huge add in the Bangor Daily News saying that he is not allowing trick or treaters. He is a total loon case and an ass to boot.

  • lol great

  • Or annoyed cause people always drive-by his house with video cameras.

  • lol the noises made the house look creepier then it really is...steve was probably looking down at you laughing. =) he's awesome

  • Rad. I saw a bumper sticker that was similar: "Defend America - Fire the Republicans"

  • Cool! I love Stephen King.

  • We do too. And he seems like a good guy... the gates were wide open and he had two signs on his lawn that read "Support our Troops - Stop the war!"
