@1jojolicious She couldn't go to the dance after all because she doesn't go to that school but in the past they allowed students to bring guests as long as they bought a guess ticket but they stopped that this year. :(
@AtomicBluRadioVision They sure have except she's homeschooled and her friend who goes to public school said that she could get her a guest pass but they changed the rules and no longer allow outsiders to come as a guest of enrolled students. :( So she couldn't go. I felt bad for her but she wasn't upset at all. LOL
@silverscreamgrl She is worried he'll lose his cute curls. She did cut a long one off because it was bugging him. I think she will cut it soon but she wants him to have some curls in his b-day pics, I think. She didn't say that but I imagine that is what she is holding out for. :) I'm probably wrong though. I think she will probably always keep his hair on the bushier side rather than short. She is going to be sad if he is like my son. If my son's hair ever had any length he hated it. lol
@Prototype87 It was 83 today but it wasn't humid so I survived. lol I never want to feel 101 degrees again, ever. LOL I know I grew up here but I'm used to Vancouver mild winters and summers. My body can't take extreme temps anymore. hehe

@fehquig Wow that's funny. It's a small world! I have family in Bloomington/Normal, Elpaso, Secor, Mansfield and cousins in a suburb of Chicago. They are all over central and northern IL.
@SinisterLadybug I think there won't be anymore really hot days now. It was 83 today and that isn't bad but I still don't like it. I love weather where you can wear a light jacket or go for a walk and no sweat. UGH I hated when we first got here it was 101 and we were just sitting outside not moving a muscle and sweat was running down our faces. That is not fun. I was miserable and ready to die lol
@MonicaTheMad I was more into roller skating and nothing could replace my roller skating Friday and Saturday nights but I did go to one junior high sock hop and I had fun but I enjoyed roller skating more lol
Grandchildren grow up so fast. My oldest grandson is 14 already. I am working on another scarf, it's called a Unity scarf with all the house colors of Hogwarts in it.

Oh wow Emmett is too young for Lily; she will be 2 on Sept 14. She'll have to hold out for Bain and Emmett can pick a younger girlfriend. :) We do have the cutest kids ever here in youtube land, don't we? Wow, first dance. Way cool. She's such a great kid; I hope she has a blast. Yeah, 85 sucks but it beats 100 all over, doesn't it? Going to be about 84 here today but because the nights are so cool, it's not that bad. And I'm staying on the couch anyway. I know you'll have fun with the kids! :)

We gave him ice water out on the patio at Panera and he suddenly became a fountain and thought it was the funniest thing ever. lol It was 83 today but it wasn't humid so it wasn't so bad.
@edenbainbridge I can't believe she's going to a dance and I'm so excited I'm here for it! I'm totally stalking the perimeter of the junior high while she's inside because my daughter said when she went to that junior high the kids would sneak out the back door and hang out in the alley but we are going to stalk it so that won't be happening this time. BAM! lol
Its nice to spend time with family, hope you are having a lot of fun. Cute little grandbaby!
