  • can i play with minimum 30+ fps on big maps with 5770 and core2duo @ 3.5 GHZ ?

  • 5770 its best card evver see in my life so its bestt

  • so you reccommended this graphics card?

  • @buzz9961 i don't recommend a 5770, in the beta it was fine, but now the game is fully released, the minimum you should have at resolutions 1440x900 and above is a 5870 or 6950 to run it like i did.

  • @scottbenton1 ok. so should i take 6950 or gtx 560 ti?

  • @buzz9961 6950, it edges out the 560 ti quite a bit and is around the same price.

  • @buzz9961 and if you like nvidia, a GTX 560.

  • @scottbenton1 yeah i like nvidia but its not the same price and i want to buy a very good processor then graphics card?

  • I hear you brother. I suck at fps multiplayer except games like Halo and Team Fortress. Team Fortress is extremely well balanced and the only game I don't mind snipers. It's very fair unlike the unbalanced exploitable maps of the soldier games. I'll get BF3 for the single player once it drops down to about $20.

  • @MrNaltas 1440x900.

  • @scottbenton1 Is this running in crossfire?

  • @DaManBearPig single 5770, this was the beta, these were the highest "beta" settings without AA msaa etc. the official game is more demanding, and i haven't gotten it yet.

  • only 1 question

did u had lag playing this game? i couldnt play the beta at ultra. i only ran at medium or sometimes high

another thing is that will i be able to play this game at max settings when they full game comes out since they gonna turn the graphics fully on

u think i can run this game at i7 870 @3.6ghz, 8gb ram and same video card as urs

  • @TheWarfare07 Nope, i had no lag, the only lag i had was when i first started recording, but after the first 2 hiccups it was fine, also they will be releasing the true graphics when it is released. You will not be able to max it like i did, nor will i, you might be able to run at high without MSAA AA and motion blur. so yeah you can easily run the game.

  • @scottbenton1 I played both the beta and the alpha with the lowest settings and the lowest resolution, with lag. lol? Can you recommend a good gaming setup?

  • @teddifisk A good gaming setup would probably be an AMD phenom II X4 955 BE

Ati Radeon 5870 ( these are just 2 components im talking about) or if you like intel and nvidia go for a intel i5 2500k and a ati 5870 or an nvidia 560 ti. Make sure you get the right motherboard if you choose the AMD build you get an AM3 Board, if you choose the intel build you get a socket 1155 motherboard

  • Oh k, I've got a AMD Phenom(tm) 2 x4 910 processor (4CPUs), ~2.6GHz

    8192MB RAM

Page File: 3280MB used, 17175MB available

    windows 7-64bit ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB

    Generic PnP Monitor 1600x900 (32 bit) (60Hz)

I can't even get that game to run as smoothly as your's is....... :(

  • @darthcriddle overclock the phenom to 3.5 ghz. take off all post anti aliasing and motion blur effects.

  • @scottbenton1

so i have the phenom 955...which is clocked to 3.2ghz

if i get the radeon 5770...i sound be able to run this game? thats assuming...can you help me out here?

i would probably be running this game ay 1024x768

  • @Whatup5656 well you should get a 6870 to be sure you can run it tbh, the 5770 is severely out dated ^^

  • @Whatup5656 get a 560 from nvidia (non ti or ti) and you're good, if you prefer amd go for the 6870 or higher:) what resolution are you playing on?

  • @chrizmeister1992

ive gone with nvidia before but just had so many problems. i picked up a 4300 series last year because there wasnt really much that i was playing on the computer. since BF3 is much better on the PC...i want to at least pick up the a radeon 6850. i was just looking at how low i could go and still play this. i normal dont over 1024:768 or whatever it is. if i get the 6850 i might.

  • @Whatup5656 Yeah at that resolution you'd be fine:) altough i would invest couple of bucks more for an 6870.

  • Nice video btw. But i don't understand how can u play it at so high frames.

I have i5 2500k @ stock clocks, XFX HD 5770 XXX OC-ed edition @ 930/1340, 4GB Kingston HyperX DDR3 and i can only dream about this high settings. Im playing @ 1920x1080 high settings, no AA or what so ever and i get about 30-50 fps.

  • @SeizureTheChosenOne As i said, my resolution is quite low, only a 19 inch monitor 1440x900, not as many pixels need to be displayed on my monitor than yours, your monitor has a higher density of pixels thus making your graphics card work harder.

  • @scottbenton1

alright that makes sense. I didn't find where you mentioned about your resolution but well its cool now ! :)

And you gotta admit, 5770 is a kick ass card for its price !

  • @SeizureTheChosenOne haha yess, the 5770 is amazing, probably one of the best price/performance cards out there.

  • I have only 30 FPS on High Settings at Operation Métro with the same GPU and the same CPU.... Why can you run it without laggs?

  • @Bochum96 because i overclocked mine, also i have AA post AA MSAA disabled. At 0.

  • @scottbenton1

But you said, you overclocked it 'slighty', so there's not much difference.... and i think the cpu doesnt matter that much...

  • @Bochum96 actually yes, the CPU matters greatly, this game is heavily CPU dependent as well as GPU dependent my resolution is 1440x900

  • Hey you seem pretty good add me on origin batfolx

  • Hey i have a 5770 too :)

Could you plz tell me what you overclocked it to so i can have same fps as yours? Many thanks

  • @JaredzzC 900 mhz/1300 mhz my monitor is only a 19 inch monitor so the resolution is 1440/900.

  • @scottbenton1 Ok thanks :)

I have a resolution of 1600x900 would those specs for the card be ok? and also is your fan set to like 75% or something?

  • @JaredzzC ah, i think you'd prolly have to push the clocks to 950/1300 and you should be fine with your resolution, remember turn all anti aliasing off, as you get impacted massively by it. my fan is at around 70-80% while playing, also if your CPU is a dual core, it could impact your frames, also try to make sure your CPU is above 3 GHz as 2.6ghz stock on my cpu isn't good ;) XD

  • @scottbenton1 Lol its fine :) My cpu is a i5-2500 stock is at 3.3 but i oc to 3.7 :) so i should be good xD

whats ur player name on the game ? ( if u dont mind telling me )

ill add u if you can add ppl.

sad things is my other 5770 was faulty so sometime next week my new 5770 should be arriving xD

so havent gotten a chance to go on the beta yet. ps. did u OC with ccc? sorry for all these questions and comments...

  • @JaredzzC yeah with CCC i overclocked, but my cpu in the bios. and my player name scotty1121.. when you get your next 5770 put it back to normal and both of your 5770s should be perfect, even think you could put the microsampling (MSAA) on.

  • @scottbenton1 hehe you may not of understoof :P i sent for a replacement bc they wouldnt replace unless i gave them my faulty one, so i will be back to having only 1gpu xD so prob best not to have msaa on :P

thanks alot btw. i subbed! :)

  • @JaredzzC thanks, i'll check your channel out too, also i did understand ^^, i just meant when you get the next one when it comes back :p

  • @JaredzzC oh also, careful, make sure your cooler for your 5770 is good, and you don't push the voltage too high.

  • this game is sooo awesome... it really feels u're in a battlefield...
