  • My mother sing this song to me and My brother when we was lil kids . I love this song too

  • This is really what i call old school. My mother used to listen to these songs all the time. Thanks for putting them on you tube. This is going to be a wonderful tribute to her.

  • Love it love it.

  • I love This Song!!

  • This song sure takes the mind to think about the importance of where we will go if our minds stay on Christ. This kind of singing is lost to many churches but that "old school" singing had a way of bringing you to tears at the end. This song also makes you reflect on your own past and family and those whom you love.

  • Somewhere around the the thorne. Like the song....

  • This lady sang The Blood on the GMWA album the one with Sara Powell. I hear that uncomparable schwall...wish someone would post it.

  • A beautiful and emotional redention of this song

  • Nice !

  • What a praise to God! I want to be around God's throne one day. Hallelujah! Praise almighty God! It is good to know Jesus!!!

  • This is lead by the great Betty Perkins. A Los Angeles based superstar. She died in 1995. I live a few doors down from Pastor Perkins and his 2nd wife.

  • I remember as a kid back in the 60's, Sister Perkins would come and visit our radio broadcast on Sunday evenings, and our pastor would always call on her to sing a tune, and she would just take us higher. She possessed a sweet spirit and had such a powerful voice. RIP

  • One of my favorites

  • sunday morning's at grandma gen's, the scent of pot roast and boiled potatoes cooking for after church dinner, mama brushing my hair into submission, and this song playing on the old general electric radio. i'm 25 now and can easily say those were the most beautiful times. abundant bliss.

  • I remember singing with a group and doing this song. We lived in Muskegon, Michigan at the time and one of the tenor's house burned up the night before we left. Someone bought his a suit so he could travel. He sung this song and we thought about his house burning and how nobody was hurt and we all went in.
