  • i love this song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I get goosebumps everytime I hear this song.

    Disney FTW!!

  • Hi Everyone! id appreciate if u can read this

i make disney music videos/crossovers. i recently uploaded a sad video i made with kayley from quest for camelot and john smith from pocahontas. i rarely get any views on my videos, which is really upsetting considering how much time and effort i put into my work. id appreciate if u quickly checked out my channel

  • My childhood in 3:56 minutes (:

  • I just got a little teary eyed singing this song... Its so beautiful...

  • Comment removed

  • that bear would have eaten him alive if were in real life. just saying....lol

  • If sopa passses, THIS WILL BE GONE. ARGGH. If Disney would only release their movies on DVD I wouldn't have to watch them on youtube!

  • @kurtandblaine4ever But it was released on DVD. o.o

  • I'm convinced that if everyone on earth heard this song/watched this movie it'd be the end of all wars and problems.

  • i love this song!! though it makes me tear up every time lol

  • Green Peace should make this video a commercial

  • Can anyone please tell me who sings this?

  • @kiwi20chan Judy Khun

  • @growliepup Thank you :)

  • These lyrics are powerful!

  • i love this song ! i remember when i was nine and my family first got the movie,i ice skate and i remember wanting this to be the music to my dance performance. I was so exited! And i agree this does have a very powerful message within it.I like the Disney mostly because they are not showy or inappropriate.I personally like these and those peaple who don't like this song and others are just silly.- A.M

  • I still feel empowered by this song. I think it holds a deeper meaning. Like, we all live on the same Earth, under the same sky, made of the same thing. So, we shouldn't be fighting on another over petty things, like, lines drawn on a map. Instead, we should see what we all have around us and look after it for everyone else. Don't know if anyone else thinks that way, but I think this is a very powerful song, with an important message contained within it.

    Disney: FTW.

  • lol i have this CD

  • I'm singing this in choir at school and I could so cry singing it every day...

  • I don't want to ruin this determined feeling, but what do y'all suppose to "create a revolution?" That's all I want to know.

  • Europeans fucked up this continent..

  • @Komnenit Yep.

  • One comment said that Ariel's voice was better than all the other voices in Disney songs. Well, I disagree. I love ALL of the songs and their characters' voices equally, because for each song you listen to, you feel a different magical essense, and it makes you feel like that one song is the best, but then you listen to another, and feel another wonderful feeling. All these disney classics are equally the best.

  • Someone PLEASE tell me where i can watch the movie?!?

  • @0Lloyddusktuner0 try searching for "Watch Pocahontas online" in google

  • @2:57 Simba...you have forgotten me

  • An amazing message

  • 77 people can't paint with all the colors of the wind.

  • They should bring this back like The Lion King in theaters. It would be awesome!

  • @Jessrock09 They probably will. They're bringing Beauty & the Beast back later this month.

  • "You think the only people who are people, are the people who look and think like you" Sadly this is how a lot of people choose to look at life.

But me. I'm willing to 'Walk the footsteps of a stranger'. I love people regardless of how they look.

  • If ur White or Native American, be happy of who u r.

  • They shoul dhave put pocahantas in kingdom hearts!

  • *happy sigh*... :')

  • When I get older and have children I will make sure they know every princess because these movies made me up to be the person I am today I know that good always wins and fighting for love is always the right thing because when its the right thing to do there will always be a happy ending

  • I know native bitches in real life that look like her, except they ain't got that mouse nose and discolored eyebrows

  • @mllluvsshopping331 was your history teacher there when it happened? there are many possibilities and your history book isn't going to tell you what truly happened. some things are hidden and untold. this may be true, but it also may be a twisted version. either way, we know it happened, but we just don't know EXACTLY how it happened and what led up to it. records were inaccurate back then.

  • @mllluvsshopping331

Well, it's a movie (kids movie) not a documentary! And even if it was a documentary doesn't mean it would be 100% true either.

  • Look at this typing, isn't it neat?

Wouldn' ya ya think that my aging's complete?Wouldn' ya think i'm the girl, the girl who's 20!

No, i'm not a teen yet.

I've got a couple years of aging. So much growth to get though.

But who cares, no big deal, I'M STILL PRO.

You judge how we love the Lion king, sayin' we're not old enough to buy it, love it.

Why do you even care?I might be small, I might be young, I might've been 3 when this was first sung. But can't you see? What I might be? I am Disney!

  • @Samiesmiles9 YOU GO GIRL!! lol

  • @Samiesmiles9 no, i wouldn't think you were 20.

  • @suberkin I wouldn't think /you/ were either, since you have a lack of capitalization.

  • @Samiesmiles9 welcome to the internet, kid. first time im guessing.

  • @suberkin I never said I was a kid, and I'm from the internet.

  • @Samiesmiles9 "No, i'm not a teen yet." should i call you sir?

  • @suberkin I was making up lyrics, genius :P

    If I sing

CAT, I'M A KITTY CAT, AND I DANCE DANCE DANCE, AND I DANCE DANCE DANCE!

Does that make me a cat?

  • @Samiesmiles9 lying about your age is different than lying about your species... you can't be this dumb, can you?

  • @suberkin I've never heard the phrase "You can't be this done", though, I've heard, "You can't be /that/ dumb". Also, it's not called lying if the song isn't meant for you. I wasn't lying ab out my species, or age. Darren Criss wrote many songs for A Very Potter Musical and Sequel. Which include "Coolest Girl" where he sings from the view of Hermione, he never bothers to change the lyrics to fit him, he just sings as if he was a girl.

  • @Samiesmiles9 i've never heard of the phrase/word, "ab out". It's annoying, isn't it? and who the fuck is darren criss?

  • @suberkin Darren Criss is a God with black oceans for hair and dark Doritos for eyebrows. He was swim across empty lands and be Harry Freakin' Potter. He can kick dicks out of restaurants and yell "DIDN'T YA READ THE SIGN? NO. DICKS!".

  • @Samiesmiles9 probably sucks shit.

  • @suberkin Look him up, he's very successful. Got on Broadway, too.

  • @suberkin You can't complain about other peoples' typos when you don't even use correct grammar. Just saying.

  • @MultiAwkwardRabbits you clearly didn't read the whole convo.

  • @suberkin I did. Obviously. :|

  • only in disney movies can you go from day to night to day in the time span of 4 minutes!!!=^.^=

  • i hate the 2 one she should of staed with john smith

  • polish version is better

  • SSSSSHHHH listen, the lady's voice at the beginning is so scary if you are home alone and wasn't expecting it :@

  • this song is so much better in german :)

  • I love this song and I love Reflection from Mulan <3

  • so you mean green wind is fart ?

  • Random Start!

  • ... And then the mother bear eviscerated John Smith for holding her cub.

  • Then John Smith Raped the 11 year-old Pocahontas for thinking she knew better. Shortly after, he kidnapped her and the next time she saw the outside of a ship she was in England.

  • i wish we alll thought like native americans did before europeans settlers. and an i am one

  • anyone who grew up in the 90s didn't need the sing along lyrics....

  • @amidala904 you are abosoultly right!

  • Disney princesses and classic/ old Disney will always be a part of my life. For all eternity. It's so beautiful.

  • Pocahontas is my less favorite disney movie but this is still a beautiful song

  • Your beautiful Pocahontas

  • I am twelve.

    I still love this song.

People say I am to old for Pocahontas .

Do you know what I say to them?

    F**K OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like this post if you are are older or the same age and you still love this song.

    :) :) :) :) :) :)

  • @0019930418 IKR!!!!!!!!!! ;)

  • @gleegirl1010 Heck yeah I'm about to turn 18 in about 4 months and I STILL listen to this!

  • @gleegirl1010 im 13 and im a it disney obsesed lol dnt tae bull from anyone actually if they say you're to old say hakuna matata

  • I don't get how her hair is so straight when she doesn't even have a comb -.- Doesn't her hair get tangled?

  • Pocahontas is my favourite Disney Princess by far :)

  • ^^ love this song but did anyone catch on to that remark she made at 2:59?????

  • i think i was too young to care about this song, but now i'm 21, this song is pretty moving o__o

  • i watched the movie one time and the chours got stuck in my head i even got in trouble or singing the cours in class and i told my teacher hey you said show and tell well i showed and sang lol

  • I fricken love this movie...but she was actually like 12 when John Smith met her.

    Kind of ruins the magic.

  • Pocahontas is like my role model, not just cause im Native American

  • This video made me realize how cruel humans these days are. :(

  • I do not consider her a "princess". She's more of a...native. OMG this sounds so bad but wtf?

  • I felt sad when Pocahontas and John Smith didn't end up together. But I guess that's life.

  • @gothsicle13 don't u know there's a pocahontas 2 it's called poucahontas 2:journy to the new world and they met up agian near the end of the movie or in the middle

  • @starriser3000 I know. That's why I said I was sad Pocahontas didn't end up with John Smith because she ended up with John Rolfe in Pocahontas 2. I felt sorry for John Smith after all the things he went through just to be with Pocahontas again. ♥

  • @gothsicle13 I know right why couldn't they be together forever if only the people who made this made a third movie and in that one john smith and pocahontas get married and travle to new places around world well at least that's how i want to be

  • I remember cheering on simba when he fought scar

I remember booing at Ursela when she took Arieal's voice

I remember fighting the Huns with Mulan.

I remember the wind through my hair, running by Pocahontas.

I remember being locked in the Beast's castle.

I remember laughing and having fun with Mickey and his friends.

I don't remember watching teen drama on stupid disney channel

Copy and paste this to all your favorite Disney Videos and let's start a revolution

    W Disney forever

  • @terry0f09 Your awesome thats exactly what i was thinking

  • @terry0f09

I remember shrinking into a small size and have fun with woody and buzz

I remember swinging through the jungles with Tarzan

I remember going in and out of the monster world with Mike and Sully

I remember having a great night at a ball with cinderella

I remeber sleeping with sleeping beauty in the castle

I remember all the best movies that I watched even when I am still a little girl, especially Toy Story. A classic cartoon that none cartoons nowadays can surpass it.

  • @terry0f09 This World Has changed from 2000 to 2012 :[ i miss these movies 2 but disney have new shows and has forgotten about our MOVIES so thy moved on but we haven im start this revolution 2 with U COME ONE DISNEY LOVERS </3 :]

  • You do Realise wlter disney was a natzi, which means disney was funded by the americans and so was the holocaust !

  • @siannyk8 *realize,

    *Walter

    *nazi

And we did not fund the holocaust by liking Disney, that's you just trying to seem smarter than you are. Supporting Disney even though he wasn't a fan of the Jews and saying it funded the holocaust is like liking someone who is allergic to cats and saying it's funding a cat-killing spree.

  • @terry0f09 I remember when fans of Disney spelled Ariel correctly. -

    Yeah, I'm being a b*tch. I know.

Pocahontas was always one of my favorites<3

  • @blackm00n5 Ok it was one mistake. You knew what I meant. Did you really have to say something??

  • I like how they think children can read the words ignorant savage.

  • this song in french canadian has a totally different meaning and is way more touching :3 this one still good tough...

  • Pocahontas makes me feel proud to be Native American :) <3

  • this song makes me want to go to the forset

  • Silly John Smith thought he was going to get some nasty stuff at 2:18

  • @waianya u can see it in his smile! lol

  • pocahontas one of the three best disney princess pocahontas and the other 2 are best disney princes because she could fight for herself ariel could fight forherself and mulan could they didnt need men to save them pocahintas and mulan and ariel are best princess because of that

  • @darkrose97100 don't forget rapunzel lol she saved the guy :P

  • @naomijoassaint i didnt see rapunzel

  • I love love love when she gives him the gun and says that he calls her the savage!

  • my favorite line from this whole movie, which i repeat on a regular basis, is what grandmother Willow says to pocahontas, "All around you are spirits, child. They live in the earth, the water, the sky.If you listen, they will guide you"

I believe that to be true. Just sit down one day and listen to the wind blow the leaves on a tree, or the trickle of water in a stream, feel the earth beneath your feet. just listen and you'll hear the spirits speak. trust me. :)

  • this song is the most beautiful and most touching song I ever heard :)

  • i had to play this song for orchestra. it turned out rly rly good :)

  • disney is magic disney channel is crap fuck all moms not letting their children have childhoods

  • I'm native american and Pocahontas is my fucking hero. I just wish people would understand and stop industrializing nature and enjoy lovely Mother Earth.

  • @MCRisMYloverSOUL That's true but that's really not the point of this movie. It's about racism and ignorance and how at the end of the day, we're all the same because love conquers all.

  • sad fact: i didnt know that disney made a pochantas movie until highschool. Talk about a sheltered childhood.

  • @BrosephKim wow, that is pretty tragic. but at least you know now. the magic lives on!

  • The old lady when she said "shhh, listen! Can you feel it..." scared the bajeeblers out of me.

  • this brings back memeries and im 13

  • well he's an inconsiderate arse. who starts shooting things in the middle of a person singing??

  • so sad that they dont end up together

  • This song is beautiful, but I'm pretty sure if Pocahontas actually grabbed a baby bear, the mama bear would rip her fucking face off.

  • @bonniemom I think the point is that, they trust her

  • @bonniemom this just TOTALLY made my night!!

  • @bonniemom omg thats so funny i was thinking that same thing when she grabbed the cub LOL!

  • i look a lot like Pocahontas for some reason to me

  • omg i miss these kind of movies so damn bad, i really hate the ones we have today cuz their all sad and scary and boring, I MISS YOU WALT DISNEY :(

  • This brings me back to my childhod. My Grandma and I would watch Pocahontas, Scooby-Doo and Classic cartoons. We would drink fruit punch and eat Cheesy Cheetos. Watching this almost made me cry, I realized what I missing.

  • At the end, I'm all like "KISS, KISS, KISS!"

  • So sad we are destroying this beautiful Earth. This movie takes me back and makes me realize how much we need to change.

  • watching this reminds me of my childhood <3

  • To the lady who speaks at the beginning: Are you sure that you feel it and are not being paid to feel it?

  • @CuteNeko12 Lmao.

  • i love the voice of the woman who speaks at the beginning

  • 1:33... Dramatic Stare Into Space and Suddenly Night Falls. o_o Never Noticed that. But Pocahontas is Still Awesome. <3

  • i cant believe i lost this tape!

  • I can't wait to have Children and show them these movies.

  • thumbs up if your watching this in 2011 and think its still a great song

  • i wonder if she is cold wearing a skimping dress made of the earth and he wearing five layers with high boots

  • avatar

  • I feel honoured to have her tribes bloodline in my family. My mom kinda looks like the real her. I HAD to get my dad's looks :(. And this song is the one that got me into a show choir my senior year. This is probably the most influential song in my life.

  • that literally just made me cry. that was just so beautiful. incredible.

  • he just got TOLD :P

  • Just sang this out as loud as I could and acted all the lyrics out as if I was Pocahontas herself in that scene...I'm in college.

  • - This Song Still Give Me The Chills.

But I Sure Do Miss The Old Disney Movies. -_____________________-

As I Grew Up Watchin These , As My Own Children Will Too !!

    Talk Bout A Bond. ♥.

  • IS IT WRONG THAT THIS MUSIC MAKES ME CRY?

  • Avatar reminds me of Pocahontas

  • The best Disney song EVER created, nuff said :)

  • god this gave me goosebumps ;)

  • 73 people are color blind

  • going through all the disney sing-a-longs and reminiscing ^_^ i need to watch all my disney movies again <3

  • People are so worried about stupid subliminar messages that they say that are in Disney movies but they let their children interact with worst things. Disney is magic, and every child knows that. I grew up with Disney and that is the best part of my childhood.

  • @AnaFilipexD There is many subliminal messages,But you cant Deny How Great the songs Were though Nor The Animation.

  • @enteralif Exactly. I hate all those videos about subliminal messages, most of them are ridiculous. There's one thing that I truly admire: Disney used to teach but without saying that they're were teaching... Today, these songs would be like "don't do this, don't do that, it's bad". I'm sorry that I can't express myself quite well.

  • @AnaFilipexD Yes and Agreed!
