  • My piccolo playing need some serious work, this piece is amazing <3

  • My great great great grandmother used to play this manically on piano! :D

  • Epic triangle....

  • This version goes too fast!.

  • @ilswk you're too slow eh?

  • IMO this is one of the best opera overtures and I have never heard a note from the opera or another piece of music by this composer YET..

A.- If you do not tap ypur feet at least once - CHECK YOUR PULSE.

B- If you do not smile on several occasions - YOU NEED A SHRINK STAT.

  • I have heard this overture on occasion, but was not familiar with the composer. You will bet that I will get to know him better now. It got me out of my seat and on the floor dancing to the music! Thanks for making it available on the internet improving my spirits, providing a good feeling and energizing me on a dreary rainy day in North Carolina.

  • we're playing this in my symphony right now. haha.

  • 5:07 Quem é fã do desenho pica pau e sua turma ama essa música

  • I often heard this tune on the radio in the morning at 5 and 6 years old.

The melody from 5:07 is wonderful.

  • the only thing i find negative about this overture is the length of it, it is far to short. I love every second off it, and i would not mind listen to it for 30 minutes
