@aReT4RTedduck No you couldn't be more wrong. Shaolin monks was an adventure/action game rather than the other 1 on 1 fighting games. You start with Liu Kang and Kung Lao, and you could unlock Scorpion and Subzero if you finished the game. I know cause I've got it on PS2.

@Epikkfailyurr To be fair it's hard to beat the original usually and mortal kombat has a bad history aside from the first 3. Though the new one is amazing, so there's some proof that a good game can be made after the original. Same usually goes with movies. THe sequels are generally just an excuse to cash in, but on occasion there are sequels that have overpassed the original or are just as good such as Aliens or Spider-man 2.
