Check yourself regularly and get ULTRASOUNDS, women, but DO NOT get mammograms - breast tissue is very sensitive to radiation and there is a very large school of thought that mammograms cause more breast cancer than they detect.

i agree with allot of the things she says.... but legal rights..to gay folks..male or female are an issue to me. i dont want us ( usa ) citizens tax dollars spent on this issue. so..she is gay.. her sex life is none of my business....and neather; is it yours. i like the lady. Go Martina.

You just cannot admire this woman enough. How painful, how difficult must it have been to go public with this??!! How many other celebs would have just kept it to themselves? This will save so many lives. And not just of women. All of my male friends are runnung out to get their prostate check-ups as a result of this. None of us will ever know how many people, who otherwise would have died of cancer, will still be alive in 10 years because of this woman. Martina: you are the greatest!

Ich denke MARTINA beschreibt sehr gut ihre Gefühle.

Vom ersten Moment an als sie die schlechte Nachricht Krebs zu haben erhielt

und als sie dann mit Freunden+Verwandten sprach-

bis sie entschied es der Öffentlichkeit in einer amerikanischen TV show mitzuteilen.Um andere Frauen davor zu bewahren,nicht zum Arzt zur Mammographie gehen.MARTINA benutzt Gefühl+Situation in ein. sehr konstruktiven Weise,weil sie sehr aktiv gegen ihren Krebs handelt.

Ich mag sie sehr gern und wünsche ihr das Beste!

I think, MARTINA describes very good her feelings.

From the first moment when she got the bad news about having cancer

and then how she talk with friends and her relatives about it, until

she decided to tell it to the public in the american TV show.

To prevent other women NOT to forget to go to the mammographie

as she did. MARTINA is USING her feelings and situation in a

very constructive way,because she acts now very active against her cancer.
