someone help me out I remember playing this game for genesis when I was a kid It was a vertical shooter game in space and you could get addons like ships that helped you out and shit, I cant find It and cant remember the name someoen help me out

The Japanese version is much better the the European release. Even though die in one hit, have lives instead, and restart on checkpoints like in Gradius, there are more weapon power-ups. Konami had a bad habit of dumbing down their shooters for westerners back in the day. *looks at Thunder Cross and Lighting Fighters/Trigon*

Looks like the gameplay is pretty sensitive (nervous) on this one. Looks great anyway, though I usually feel more comfortable with the vertical scrolling - Dodonpachi forever !
