To this day, I've yet to find an anime that tops this, in any regard. Everything about it was perfect; the characters, the plot, the soundtrack, the visuals, EVERYTHING! It is, to this day, my favorite anime to date, and I don't think anything will change that. After watching this. I honestly believe that it makes every other mech anime feel...subpar, because nothing can never hope to match it.

Since this particular thing was pointed out to me, I can't unsee it, and any time I do notice it, I suddenly lose respect for whatever I'm viewing. Even to this day, I still can't find the words to describe how incredibly epic this series was. The combination of hope it gave, the moral of it all, intelligent plot, incredible voice acting, awesome animation, flexible characters with great personality, and just all out being an incredible show. The way the series was carried out from start to finish, and in the movies too, just amazed me, and it still does. I can never find suitable words to use on such a grand and amazing Anime, truly epic.
