Back in the day, it was the safety's job to let receivers know, "dont come across the middle..." Now we have offences running high school spread offence plays in the pro league and you cant even breath on the QB without getting flagged. Migh as well just be two hand touch out there...

QB's are who we pay to see. It's arguably the most unprotected position in football. The vast majority of hits on QB's have no flags thrown. Driving a helmet into a QB's chest and sliding it up through his chinstrap just after he's released the ball is a unnecessary roughness.
Knock the Mannings, Bradys, Ryans, Roethlisbergers, etc. out of the games and we'll see who comes to watch, Mr. Lewis!

QB's are who we pay to see. It's arguably the most unprotected position in football. The vast majority of hits on QB's have no flags thrown. Driving a helmet into a QB's chest and sliding it up through his chinstrap just after he's released the ball is a unnecessary roughness.
Knock the Mannings, Bradys, Ryans, Roethlisbergers, etc. out of the games and we'll see who comes to watch, Mr. Lewis!
