  • I love this part, because it shows how back in those days how the worked with rhythm.

    It's true look it up.

  • @DruTraneX Hi.

If youreally want to see a beautiful example of rhythm in a movie, watch this on Youtube:

Our Daily Bread (Part 7 of 8)

That was done by KING VIDOR back around 1934. Watch it first without listening to the words, just the sounds and rythm's. Then watch it again and listen to how the voices are almost like a chorus singing above the background sounds. Interesting

  • I'm pretty sure the scene where he goes ape-shit in the gambling house is my favorite

  • lol...i like how the farmers are in sync w/ the music...

  • quiero saber como se llama la cancion de las geishas !!!!!!!!!!

and this part is so damn cool

  • Brilliant : )

  • Very Creative...you thinking of a set up...while the beat of the garden's tools sets the scene and after all that is done, with no one dying in this scene, the beat goes on. Outstanding.

  • ....the good old earth must not soiled with blood....a samurai that wears no sword and a blind masseur who hides a sword in his cane :)

  • This scene is fabulous, it's a pity that the audio is a little off sync.

  • It's as if his sense of listening would be amplified, this scene represents how it interacted with environment. Very cool! I like this.

  • thumbsup to u

  • This is the remake it's very funny

  • This is one of my favorite parts in the movie

  • Which Zatoichi was this movie? Is this the remake? I've never seen Zatoichi because I gave up Samurai Cinema after seeing one Lone Wolf & Cub beginning. But, Zatoichi is making me rethink about trying them out. This looks like it might be cool. I also read that there was a remake of Zatoichi which might be even cooler. Is this it or the original?

  • Remake indeed, by Takeshi Kitano (2003).

  • the Zatoichi series is acutually pretty good. Though it is over the top a bit like most movies in this sort of genre.

  • This is an excellent remake. I'm a hugo fan of the Shintaro series, but this Takeshi remake is excellent. Rent it. I did and liked it so much I bought it.

  • same. I worked at a video store, and for some reason it appealed to me. Watched it, bought it, favourite movie of all time.

  • That music.

  • the utilized the sound of the tools for the music....much like STOMP

  • does anybody know the name of the blues singer which appears in another kitano movie i cant remember the name but he was pretty good... :-(((

  • easy, not so much info

  • You Dumb!!One frame is sometime worth thousand words. Look at the scene carefully...listen to the background music...try to feel it...Takeshi Kitano did a wonderful job...
