@umum80 You COULD run back and forth piling up chairs, or just go back into the room with the rocket launcher and set a portal semi-high on the wall (to make the launcher's laser aim slightly upward). Then go back into the room with the vent and put a portal in the wall opposite the tubes carrying the storage cubes. Lure the laser beam toward the tube. Rocket shatters tube and you've got a nice stable storage cube to stand on to get to the vent.

Easier way at 8 mins is to use the missle turrent to blow up the tube above and get a cube from it.
