Black moors & Mongoloids lived in america before columbus or any european step foot on this land. Those dark skin indians are decsendants of moors who lived here. Both moors/mongoloids were under the choctaw, cherokee, mohawk nations. All indians are not sterotypically red with long braids.
@LAClippersfan2 yes, many people of different skin colors made up native american tribes. racists seperated the nations by skin color to steal land and rights from black native americans.
You must be careful with your words..First off, anyone born in America is "native"...George bush is a "native" american..So is every other cracka born here...INDIGENOUS is the word you should use...So-called "African"-Americans are the INDIGENOUS inhabitants of the Americas...No one else..
@adamlivs african americans are the indigenous inhabitants of the americas? and what about so called native americans/indigenous americans/amerindians? are you saying they are a mixture of black and white? if not what are you saying?
@pqstr It depends on what you're talking about...Anyone can be a Native American..George Bush is a Native American..Native just means you were born here..Saying "Native" does not tie you to the land originally..and it's a fact that the majority of the people who everyone calls native americans came here from Asia. So are we saying before they came over the Bering Strait, no one was here? All the evidence points against that.
@pqstr Some "native" people are a mix between black and white....We call them latinos..ESPECIALLY Mexicans..You have to remember the Catholic church came over to the Meso-America raping the women...Colonial Mexico was one of only two places on the planet that had a Caste System like India...Like in India 3,000 years ago, white people came in, found black people, rape the women and created lighter castes, but you can't deny the blood.
@pqstr The people we call African-American have something special about their blood...Blood-type O is the rarest and the original blood-type on the planet..No other population of people on the planet have more O blood than us Blacks in America, not even Africans! @pqstr It wouldn't mean anything except the continent with the highest concentration of O blood is SOUTH AMERICA!! South America also has the highest concentration of PRIMATES of any continent, but that story is for another day, lol!

Well everyone this is a heated discussion. Lets just talk about facts can we?
Native Americans were just proven to not be so native and in my research the Washitaw of whom are also in Louisiana are recognized in the Hague in the United Nations as one of the worlds oldest indigenous peoples. I'm not on anyone's side, I'm just pointing to science and documentation I've seen with my own eyes. This woman cannot be the juristic person Native American because her blood line is actually older.
i just want to say that chief warhorse is a FRAUD!!!!! A FRAUD. she is ablack woman trying to claim she's native american, she is NOT native american.
yeah, now you shut up after i tell you my affiliation. fucken troll, go run and tell ppl 'look what this cree is saying....!" youtube is full of anti-native american propaganda & NOONE is saying FUCK-ALL about that!
i have sympathy for her plight, but i just question her claims, but this is bordering on paying to ppl sense of humanity using "I am native american".Native americans are real ppl, with real histories, and many tribes have historically known each other;freindly or otherwise, and tribes STILL know each other, friendly or otherwise.
@interstellarwonder So she says she is Native American. Is your problem with her is that she is too "black" to have any native ancestry? Now that is racist. I know you are not really a racist but I can't help but feel if this person had paler skin this wouldn't be an issue.
@interstellarwonder I grew up around my Creek speaking grandmother on my mother side which got me interested in Indigenous culture especially since most ppl in our neighborhood had noticeable native ancestry. My father's mother was of Choctaw/Cuban ancestry. I have other ancestry that is Middle Eastern but I identify as "black". I support local native causes but no official tribal association because I'm not looking for membership, i just appreciate the culture.
@osiruskat thanks, your answer is appreciated, though when i ask about tribal affiliation, i usually take it for granted, that the person i'm asking is 'affiliated'.for me the answer is usually obvious, but this is youtube, and we're total strangers.
Cherokee and Choctaw Freedmen lived on Native reservations with their traditions and were pretty much adopted by those tribes. A recent supreme court ruling here in the U.S. has there citizenship reinstated in the Cherokee tribe after they were thrown out by Chief Chad Smith. There are a lot of indigenous tribes that survived here in the U.S. Some like the Lumbee are unrecognized but still maintain a strong native identity.
@interstellarwonder maybe so. Look up the story of the Jewish tribe, the Lemba (i'm sure you know their story) from Zimbabwe. For decades they told of their relation to the Jews in Israel and everyone doubt it because of their skin color. After taking Y DNA test, the results were they had the 2nd highest % (Yemen is 1st) of DNA to the Cohen Jews. All I'm saying is just because of her skin is dark doesn't mean she isn't related to Native ppl genetically (at least from her MTDNA).
Personally I wouldn't exclude my African side and just say Native American. If she has the documentation and the DNA and relates culturally and traditionally, I would respect here identity. The only "full" blood native people are on reservations, everyone else has some admixture.
@osiruskat what i don't understand about this story ,is how come all of a sudden she's claiming land after the chaos of hurricane katrina. how come she hasn't brought this up BEFORE katrina?THEY DON'T OFFICIALLY EXIST says the female commentator in the questionable video.
@interstellarwonder Does she appear nutty? Maybe a little. She's claiming land that was probably given to her land that was probably inherited. My family has an ancestral burial ground with property that has been in our family for generations.Katrina really devastated Louisiana (it still hasn't recovered yet). They will never officially exist because of discrimination amongst native nations.Again, in New Orleans is a culture of a great mixture. I don't think she is on a rez but on a compound.
@interstellarwonder FEMA wasn't quick to help the poor ppl of New Orleans and the city is still in ruins in some parts. Of course, she is not going to get any fed govt help. She already said that it is going to be an uphill battle. Unless she gets support from more ppl besides Macklin. Since it is on You Tube, more ppl know her cause and can contribute. What nation are you? Blackfoot? Metis?
These are the same people who claims to be Moors,Egyptians,Jews,Chinese,Olmecs and space aliens.....everything other than sub-saharan west african bantus. This lady has a typical bantu face.
@interstellarwonder Yeah because he is of partial Fulani and Tuareg descent in Africa. Look them up. The Woodaabe tribe could be mistaken for a Southeast Native tribe when they were their makeup.
@interstellarwonder Apparently you know nothing of the diverse identity of Native American tribes that are specific to that region. Louisiana was a refuge for many different groups from French Canadian Cajuns,Creoles, Redbones and Black Indians. Chata tribe probably won't get recognized as an official native tribe like the Lumbee tribe isn't recognized. They are tribe that has a strong MTDNA of Native ppl but an African father. They retained their traditions and identify as Native.
@osiruskat you don't know shit, most tribes in THAT region were WIPED-OUT by spanish diseases mostly.read the history books. the US has established who is and who isn't native american okay?it's just black ppl(descendants of SLAVES) who are trying to claim land ,in a most sly way. prove me wrong.
@interstellarwonder Since my part of family originally came from New Orleans, I may know a little bit more on the subject, I didn't have to read a book when I had my Choctaw/Creek grandmother to give me information. First off Louisiana was a French colony not Spanish. The some Native pp in the U.S. flourished unlike native pop. in South of the Americas. Many Native tribes took in runaway slaves to rebuild their tribes and the 5 civilized tribes got wealthy from slavery.
Louisiana like the gumbo it is famous for has a melting pot of ethnic groups. Like a small scale Brazil, in some regions everyone is mixed with something :French Cajuns, Italians, Africans, Creoles (french, native, african), Redbones, and Black Indians. Native populations were driven to reservation but others assimilated with into the pop. mass. It is obvious that the Chata tribe is mixed and wouldn't be recognized as Native by mayor tribes. But I bet you can trace their DNA to prove it true.
@osiruskat like I said slave descendants claiming gov't land that used to belong to native americans ,not blacks. black ppl have no honour, claiming landrights by claiming to be native tribes, long ago gone, but whose descendants aka REAL native americans are still here. in case you don't know this HUGE fact: black ppl are not slaves anymore.they have NO rights to claim land, because they are american citizens ,and as such, have to abide by the laws of the land.
@interstellarwonder The Chahta tribe in Louisiana has documentation that shows there existence before the statehood of Louisiana. The tribe has been intermixed for generations and have keep their traditions alive. So if a "white" person like Chuck Norris claims Native ancestry it is not a problem, but Chief Warhorse say she is native also you are gonna dispute it because she should fit in some kind of "black box" of ethnic stereotype.
@osiruskat you wanna get racist huh? this is about land claims ,not race , you idiot! just provide proof that they are 100% bona fide native american ,with NO african slave roots, that all i ask!
@interstellarwonder "She is the direct descendent of the last Queen of the Tchefuncta Nation, who ruled over the nation when, as a part of the Florida Territory, they lived under treaty with Spain. Like the Seminole, who harbored Black people seeking to escape enslavement, Chahta bloodlines are now thoroughly intermixed. Because of generations of racial and ethnic admixture, the process of applying for federal recognition remains an uphill battle. "
@interstellarwonder Who are YOU to say who is a 100% Native American. I'm roughly 1/8 Creek/Choctaw patrilineally/matrilineally. I don't know there slave history because not all African Americans were born slaves. Some immigrated to the states thru the port in Louisiana. The Seminoles are a tribe that had considerable contributions from there "black" citizen keeping them from never being conquered.
@osiruskat okay so are you from a fed-rec tribe? if not ,well ,who are you too speak shit? huh?i am from a native tribe from Canada,& BOTH Canada and the U.S. recognize tribes from Canada. I doubt a real non-U.S.recognized tribe won't let a group of ppl claim native american roots if THEY(non-U.S.recognized tribe) can't even prove to the U.S their native american roots.
Hahaha that like having a regulation on how to be "black" in America. Your Canadian? You know then you NOTHING NADA about the vast mixtures of African American cultures. I don't need some gov. reg board to tell me if I have Native American ancestry or not. I can just look at my mom for that. 20 years ago there wasn't any discrimation amongst tribes until U.S. govt award tribes like the Seminole millions of dollars to so called full blood members.
@interstellarwonder What are you talking about? No one is taking land if it is land that she inherited. Are you on some kind of mood medication or something? You really need to ease up on your caffeine intake buddy. I just said that she's on youtube maybe someone will contribute to help her out. I'm not speaking for her and have no affiliations with her tribe. Besides this video is at least two years
@osiruskat sly dog, i understand what your doing."Is your problem with her is that she is too "black" to have any native ancestry? Now that is racist." you don't even understand issues native americans face on a daily basis, and not just on youtube either.if she's native, fine, i tired of ppl, white or black, claiming to be native american just to receive from the gov't,which rightfully belongs to REAL native americans.
You have pissed me off because "black" people in my own family who had land where murdered by the klan because of their attempts to obtain wealth here in the deep south.Your implication is that "black" people have no rights to any land inherited to them or purchased by them in the U.S. Where the U.S. govt has a history of taking lands from native ppl and moving them into reservation where all they fall into stereotypes of being drunks and criminals. Fuck you and the horse you rode on!!!
@interstellarwonder My apologies brother, I never cuss anyone. You may been hacked or something. Someone sent me a very nasty message and I thought it was you. Sorry bout that.
@osiruskat i just want to say that , black owned land, inherited or boughtthats all fine and legal.the US gov't does have a history of taking native land.land issues are still an issue with the gov't and tribes.I don't know why the gov't claims land then can't even support ppl after katrina. because I DO know for a fact that ppl(white) are infiltrating reservations and trying to take control FROM WITHIN. This is a common issue in many tribes, i know it is in my own tribe in Canada.
"I doubt a real non-U.S.recognized tribe won't let a group of ppl claim native american roots if THEY(non-U.S.recognized tribe) can't even prove to the U.S their native american roots" I DNA test could settle it real quick. Again since they are based in Louisiana, everyone has an admix of Native, African, French, Italian etc. Are we talking blood quorton rules or Dawes roll to prove citizenship. The black slaves of Indian territories are called "Freedmen" not Morgan Freeman. :p
Fact some Native Americans were slaves. Fact some Native Americans owned slaves inside their own territories that are not part of the U.S. gov. Seminoles are an example of a Native tribe with "black" citizens that contributed to their identity and are gov recognized. The Lumbee are an example of a Native tribe with "black" ancestry who are not recognized. Her complain is over Fema help over her own ancestral property that got damaged during Katrina.
@interstellarwonder Are you Native? I know my ancestry. The last time I was at a Choctaw meeting, I saw people that looked white, black, and native. The chief of the tribe was a man of partially African descent. If you speak the language, grew up knowing the culture and follow the traditions then that is your identity. She could probably prove so with a DNA test. Notice I didn't go to your level of a child to hurl insults with anyone who disagrees with you.
@interstellarwonder Please be quite bcs you are making a fool of yourself. I bet you didnt know there are indigenous so called black people(dark skin with wooly hair) in asia. Get a clue..I bet you are one to believe that Columbus discovered america.
this is an amazing woman. i would love 2 meet her one day.im real proud about this video. she is real living black history.she a bad sister in my book.
are chata indians decendants or relatives of the seminole indians?? because i remember reading that they were also punished for not helping enslaving negros
