  • @j0ndalar2012

What level are you in? if you know how to mouth properly its not distracting; If they are signing conceptionally accurate people can imouthing can be ignored; juzz saying

  • You should do My Immortal by Evanescence. That would be amazing, you guys are great. :)

  • I love how they showed it was music xD

  • damn, and this is ASL I?

  • As a sign interpreter and sign teacher watching this was so enjoyable and I love this song as well. Yeah the glossing could be better but that comes with learning more of the language...for ASL I students absolutely wonderful keep it going and I applaud your teacher as well.

  • the guy in yellow was very good

    but he doesn't gloss

keep up the signing but you should sign this after glossing as well

  • great job keep up the good work thumbs up to the guy in the yellow

i do sign language and i love it except i am only in sign 1 i learned a lot

  • Are you kidding me? That was FANTASTICLYAMAZINGLYEPICNESSAWESOMESAUCE. :] You did the song justice, And I even learned a couple new signs. I'm not taking courses or anything, Although I should >.>

  • So expressive! Great job signing/singing.

  • this is brilliant!! wow!!!! .... awesome song!!! .. i agree fantastic ... and i agree guy in the black is adorable!!! CUTE :)

  • It is amazing to see sign language taught in school! UK is missing a real opportunity! Really good to see so much expression

  • Very good job for your level! Amazing job! Your facial expressions are spot on and your signs became quite musical! Again, Great work!

  • wow they did amazing :)

  • OMG! I'm so amazed. You guys are a-maz-ing-ly AWESOME! Nice choice of song btw. Dude your so into it. Like you've been doing it forever. Do you enjoy it or something? You seem too =) You guys are really cuteeeee!!! I love this video. Good job. I'm in ASL 1. Wish I could know as much as you do.

  • GREAT facial expressions, the signs were clear and wonderful. Nice song. :)

  • Absolutely LOVE this video. The two of you guys did great but the guy in the yellow was amazing (he did sign 95% of the song) I love your emotion and facial expressions. Im also learning asl and im really expressive when i sign yet which it think helps.

  • The guy in the yellow was amazing .

The guy in black was doing the baby-step sign language , but it was still very good (:

  • Thats my cousin in the yellow and this was like 4 years ago and now im going to do something like this in school! Javi you amazing!

  • Thanks for this... I have always listened to her songs and she does not annunciate very well in everything she sings. there were a few words in here I was not sure about... but your clarity in sign put that to pass.

Great job students. Be proud of yourself

  • 1 word=AMAZING!

  • when i was in 3rd n 4th grade i was in a ASL choir. we preformed for nursing holmes banks all kinds of places :) i miss doing it and if i wasnt home schooled i would try to find a way to do it again :)

  • sorry, not clear at allll and lots of wrong signs. best way to learn signs is to meet Deaf ppl; hang out with them and watch how they sign. and take their feedback if they offer it.

  • They are really good. I wish I was still in HS so I can continue my ASL knowledge...

  • That was super cool.

  • That was super cool,,,

  • wow so cool!!! i was only in ASL for a little while but i switched school and they didnt have ASL there (and it was right before we had to learn our songs [which i was looking forward to lol]) the only tip i have is to try and not mouth as much, REALLY great thought!!!

  • i love how elegant it looks, like a dance with so much emotion

  • They guy in the Yellow is truly AMAZING

  • thats rilly good

  • wonderful job and great song to sign to

  • The best ASL song-video I´ve seen here at YT ! The "yellow" guy´s signing is amazing!!! I thought he was in ASL 3 but he was i 1 when they did this vid as far as I can se in the comments here. The "black" guy signs too slow but seems very good (but I can´t say no more, cause, I don´t do ASL very well). Best regards from "SSL" ;) - hearing impaired from Sweden

  • I'm an ASL 1 student, I'm learning to sign the song Skater Boy by Avril Lavingne. I think Sign Language is so beautiful, especially signed songs.

  • This is really cool! The guy in yellow is so expressive. Fantastic!

  • Amazing!! Wonderful!!! Love it!!! Words can't express!!! Keep it up!!!!

  • amazing!

  • OMG this rocks!!!! awesome job!

  • The guy in the yellow shirt is LIVING the song! simply amazing! :D

  • This is one of my favorite asl vids I've seen. ^_^ The guy in yellow has so much facial expression. I'm learning asl, but my class's signs have a little less flow. I like yours better. xD

  • this was pretty good. my only question is how come the parts weren't slipt more evenly? did the guy in black get mated down for not signing as much? the guy in yellow had more parts and was unto the song more. keep it up guys!

  • you should do where is the love by the black eyed peas.you guys rock

  • I would love to see the young man on the right perform more songs in ASL..he is so expressive....is he in theater?

  • i know enough sign language to follow this, but there are some signs i havent seen, for example "wake me up" i know there are different "accents" in sign along with dialects as well, and it could be since it is in song you used different phrases or signs with slightly different meanings to make the signing flow better, but it was kind of hard for me to follow, now that i think about it. i didnt understand more than i did understand. it could just be me, maybe.

  • SOUND IS SLEEP

  • is this ASL?

btw this is very cool/well done

  • Oh my goodness. I lllaaa laa love this song, and the fact you guys put sign language to it :DD Great work you two!

  • wow i love it i know asl when i was little and now i can do fast as i canbut some people told me to slow down wow i wish i can asl with song way go..........................good job

  • great job guys!

  • wow your really good (:

    your only in asl 1?!

  • The guy in the yellow was awesome. But the guy in the black seemed really annoyed and bored for some reason.

  • Oh my goodness(:

They guy in the yellow shirt is amazing(:

I am in ASL 2 and I am amazed they can sign so well! GOOD JOB!

  • the guy in the yellow had the hard part lol

    slacker

  • lol this is my ringtone >.>

  • this is beautiful, so well done.

  • I agree. That guy in the yellow is amazing! *_*

  • The guy in yellow was AMAZING!

  • i really like the passion behind the signing, but the signing isn't that great. it's very english. for example, blood doesn't "run" like jogging running...

there is room for improvement but this is good for ASL-1 :)

  • i agree with you, also he threw in the signs "to" and "and" which were used very englishey, but still for an ASL1 student, it was great

  • first off, that was increible! my school's ASL 3 class never reached that level of expression in their signs, even. you two could so easily become fluent :)

secondly, and this isn't very important to the signing, but you guys are very cute.

so keep up the signing! ^^

  • "wake me up inside" is signed wrong - sign for "wake up" should have been used and then point dramatically to your abdomen. I also was unsure why you chose to interpret "come undone" as a machine breaking? Otherwise I felt it was quite beautiful and both of you should continue ASL studies.

  • This is great, it's more SEE than ASL, but you guys did good :)

  • That was absolutely AMAZING ! Thank you.. my son loved it !!

    FANTASTIC... x

  • im in ASL II and we did a song in sign language while our chorus sung the song.....

  • wow !

really good that was one of my favourite songs :)

  • i love the song is one of my favs and the vid was ok

  • Congratulations! It was absolutely beautiful. I'm heading into ASL 3 next year, and I thought that your performace was exceptionable. <3

  • The fluency is amazing. Keep it up. If you like, take a look at my friends and I signing songs on my channel.

  • i loved this, you did a great job. :)

  • awesome! =D

Me and a friend have done this song as well but in Swedish sign languages.. It's in my channel :D

  • BEAUTIFUL!!! wow now i know how to say wake up in ASL! jk anyways beautiful

  • AMAZING!!!

  • xD.

  • I am deaf, and that was a beautiful song.

  • my parents are deaf and i loved it to

  • Wow guys, that was amazing. I'm half deaf and I use to know sign language but I kinda stoped using it. But watching that makes me want to start up again. You guys are really cute too.

  • amazing

  • Beautiful. I'm showing this to my teacher!

  • So good! i don't know anything about ASL, only swedish sign language... but i see your facial expressions and i am so impressed :D beautiful. you sign with your soul

  • good job guys!

  • While you can tell these two guys are really putting their hearts into this, this isn't very good ASL. Concepts are totally off and there isn't much clarity with the sign production. I agree with the one person who said that BECOME looks like he is signing JESUS. It's because his handshape is wrong. He is using the ILY handshape instead of the flat-open hand. I think these guys will become great signers. I know they are only in ASL 1 now, but you can't say that this is an example of great ASL.

  • I thought the "become" was just a different asl style. But eh. What do I know?

Anyway, what I've noticed is that guys have generally sloppy form anyway, so I kind of disregarded it as that.

Overall, I think the effect was beautiful.

  • Wow! I was just thinking of this when a friend told me of an assignment.

    You two were GREAT!!!

  • Gosh, this is so amazing. Really has moved me to learn more signs!!!

  • wow that was awesome the one in the yellow wow ur signing was great amazing good job

  • this is an amazing duet!

  • This made me want to cry. It was that damn good.

  • omg this gave me the chills. this was awesome. i might do this song for my ASL final.

  • super dooper guys

  • This was really good. I know sign language and I could tell what you were saying with each sign.

  • i agreed with tide [;

i'm learning still right now, and its quite difficult :P

  • also, when it comes to ASL students, they have to sign the signs so the teacher is able to understand. If they're too flexible, it may be too hard for the teacher to see if they're signing correctly.

but these guys are great [:

  • yeah these guy is great. but i m talk about the intrepreter job. most of deaf people complaining about unprofessional interpreter that can;'t understand to deaf peoples. they are usually picky about interpreter, in my option get deaf friend. and understand their language first then you will know what to do when you get the job. so you won't get any complain from the customer!

  • True, but you have to remember they are only ASL I signers. For ASL 1 they are great.

  • yeah i m really am deaf so i can tell what different between strong asl and poor asl. been sign for whole my life.

  • I didn't say that you couldn't tell the difference. I said for the grade they are in, they were good. Give them some credit, they are in school learning your language and your culture. It doesn't matter how long you have been signing, they are just starting to learn, no one ever said they were professionals. Just give them credit. I remember what it was like starting to learn, and it's not easy.

  • right i m not saying they are lousy, they are good. but i m try to tell the truth if they really wanna getting serious about asl, cuz most of people who is a student of asl, they usally quit. in deaf culture they usually tell the truth in straight way no look for good word to avoid hurts. but i didn't saying anything about them lousy. i m just saying need more improve with their hand skill. thats all. so they won't make any mistake in the future of being interpreter. they are young its good!

  • Wow, they are fantastic for ASL I students!

  • well thats not bad but they need to work on hand cuz i noticed their hand stick to close need to give each hand more of flexiable. but keep on work on it

  • i love the guy in yellow he killed it.

  • i'm in sign language level one tho -_- your pretty good : )

  • boy thats long time to go of being level 1. but i suggest you increase your motiveable about on ASL its all depend on you if you wanna do it faster then you will have work really hard!

  • Excellent! I have to select t tune for class and I totally forgot about Evanescence! I felt the music w/o the sound on. VG

  • really good. the guy in black looked a lil nervous but other than that i think it was really good *clap*

  • the first guy is the asl ever i see and make real life and perfce follow the lyricist and that i'm deaf so second guy need more practice make life

  • Haha, what a couple for that song :b

    Thumbs up.

  • Even though the sight of guys signing Evanescence is a little disconcerting, this was still pretty enjoyable. The guy in yellow has such expressive hands! Watching this makes me wish I knew how to sign...

  • nice job but the guy on the left didn't really "enunciate" some of his signs very well...like "become" looked like he was signing "jesus"

  • He looks pretty though...

  • Have you ever seen the sign for "Jesus"?

His sign "become" wasn't even close to "Jesus."

I suggest taking more sign language classes.

They both did a very great job.

  • you guys are so cool! im gonna do that on my third year of ASL. so excited

  • You guys did really awesome. I'm in ASL 1 this year, but i don't get to do a sign song cuz my teacher is deaf so he can't tell if we're doing it correctly. But I love watching people sign them!! And you guys did awesome on this song!!

  • wow i am in asl 2 and i cant even do that u guys are really good....i have to sign a song this year got any tips for me?

  • *Claps* That's just splendid!@

  • beautiful

  • Both these guys are good but the dude on the left is deep, with the right song this kid could have me in tears

  • yeah I agree. He puts himself into it very well.

  • wow perfect translation and emotions put into the translation keep it up and keep doing what we know asl which it's a wonderfull side that some just don't know about and we are letting it be known

  • wow you guys are the best i got the chills when i watched it just like songs ou put perfect translation and feelings to the translation to asl i'm proud of my other side of my deaf family keeping the head up high.

  • Amazing! Well done.

    Tala är silver

    TECKNA är Guld.

    Speak is silver

    Signing is Gold

  • AWESOME!!! I love it, iam taking ASL 1 this year and i am so nervous for when we have to sign our song!!!

  • I was in level 1 last year! :) When I had to interpret a song into ASL I was nervous but got really excited when I actually did it in front of the class.

  • Fantastic, great. 100 points to the "yellow" guy.

  • @smirnoff72 Precis, Calle, snubben gjorde jobbet!

  • @omskomsk Du är lite sent ute min vän den komentaren du svarade på är över 1 år gammal me visst han är otroligt duktig det kan ingen ta ifrån honom

  • terrific!

  • This is by ASL 1 Students? I know I couldn't sign that well in ASL 1. Well Done. All technical things aside, amazing - by far considering how long they'd been studying!

  • All I can say is the song was very english. You need to capture the consept of the song not just the words. Well I shouldn't say anything because I don't know hw they teached you in the class. But good expression yellow shirt. But all in all nice job. But, if you want to be an interpreter the song you would interpret differently. But good job ^o^

  • The guy in the yellow is very expressive! Great way of teaching! I am interested in getting a masters in ASL and this is very encouraging :) You look like a great teacher -- good projects for students to get them involved!

  • its really BRING ME TO LIFE not back to life lol jesus lol

where did he get back to life?

  • Site doesn't work. :(

  • lol you guys are pretty good

  • it called Bring Me Back to Life not wake me up inside

  • Sorry - I changed it! Thanks.

  • lol yeah i saw that too, its good really good tho but yeah lie goes across the chin

  • Wow this video is amazing. That's one of my fav songs

  • Woah, that lie goes across the chin, not on the side of the face.
