Never saw the London Production but this is different from the way the song is approached on the Love Never Dies DVD Release. Seems Australia have improved the way the story is told a little :)

The DVD is PAL Region 2 and won't play in the majority of DVD players here. However, you can purchase any Blu-Ray or CD from the UK and they will play just fine. So, if you have a Blu-Ray player, head on over and pre-order your copy if you'd like and get it early. Again, it releases on Blu-Ray on Amazon UK for about the same price - maybe a few bucks more.

Wow. This is the BEST version I've heard him do of this song. His placement is fantastic and he nails the high note. Sometimes he wobbles at the top but tonight he was dead on. Terrific. I wish he'd do a solo album.

@71whitey ramin is a popular actor in the west end. he has played as the phantom (stage and anniversary concert) and raoul in poto, as marius enjorlas (live and the anniversary concert ) and valjean (current) in les miz, and of course the phantom in lnd. ramin is one of the few cast members who stayed with the lnd cast change, so no, lord webber's "disappointment" of the london version had nothing to do with him. you may think ramin is a terrible phantom, but have the decency to show respect.

However, keep in mind that "Lloyd Webber" is ALW's last name, not just Webber. Not that ALW composed all of this. Look at the end of Puccini's "Recondita Armonia" from Tosca to see what I mean after comparing it with the end of this song...

"lord lloyd webber" then. that is the first time i have heard that those 2 names are both surnames instead of one being middle and the other one last. we usually just say "sir webber" or "lord webber" here. The purpose of my original post though was in response to a troll that keeps bashing ramin karimloo on several videos and i finally had enough of them.

@MasterAnemos The end of Recondita Armonia from Tosca, as MANY other endings in MANY other Opera Arias and pieces of music in general is a Cadence that is used widely among composers to end or give the piece of music a resolution. Although Recondita Armonia and Till I Hear You Sing MAY sound "similar", they are not the same, nor in rhythm, harmony, or tonal key. It is a HUGE thing to say that one song is a plagiarism of another, since certain rules apply to ALL music. Hope that clears it out

The one person who disliked this is probably one of the ((cunts)), I'm very sorry to say, who bashed this wonderful musical masterpiece over and over and over again to prove either their irrational nostalgia and obsession with POTO, or their lack of emotional maturity and caused the Really Useful Music Group to cancel this show from London, and to cut the then-impending Broadway production.

Hey Jake, I have the entire show from London. It's posted here on YouTube in 4 parts if you haven't grabbed it already. It will be taken down as soon as YouTube gets wind of it so do it soon. Don't be disappointed if you're not thrilled with it. This is the London version before any real changes were made. Personally, I think it's terrible. Not what Andrew Lloyd envisioned (sorry London fans.) The magnificent Australian production will be out on DVD shortly. Get the new version.
