Yes a 8gb can hold 3 times more than a 2gb card, cheapest place to get them from is ebay but they will be fake but they work just as good as a original, 16GB pro duo cards can be a little buggy with psp1000.

Yes 2 gigs will be enough just for game saves when you get to the level of 8GB and 16GB most people save full games on them plus full films. 8GB and 16GB are for hardcore psp players.

Fake works but you need to load each game one by one if you try to load 2 or more games at once to the card it will take forever and it will not copy correctly, and you can't make it timemachine ready.. I had one sold it and broke down and got a genuine card.. have you seen the price for the 16GB one?

Fake is not as good as the real ones. If u take them in and out regulary, the mem stick will crack. And the loading time is slower. Thats y original 1 is called fast speed.
