My Dream Team: Treasury: Huckabee (Fair Tax); Commerce: Ron Paul (free trade); Defense: Colin Powell; Health and Human Services: Hillary ; Education: Michelle Obama; Homeland Security: McCain; Energy: Al Gore; Justice: Bill Clinton; Head of State: Barack Obama. Ty
She is awesome! I have listened to her this past week and I agree, she has an air of sincerity, genuity, and charisma. I would also rather listen to her than Hillary.
wow this is one amazing woman, these two complement each other so well. I wish Barack all the best & hope he wins the nominee coz he deserves it more than Hillary
comparing laura bush to Michelle obama is like comparing a primate to a homo - sapien. only god knows what she has done to justify the position of the first lady other than being the "First Lady" to be married to an "IDIOT" OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT
I agree. Women are not close to men. They need goverment help to even be close to men. I mean all the women I know that are pharmacists, doctors, etc., had their children taken care of by the government. I mean, I am sure that Michelle Obama utilized many government programs to get where she is at now. I am recommending her programs to my pregnant sister so she can have the government take care of her kid so that she can pull off "small miracles" everyday.
I think she is on point. Its about time we had someone to speak up for the little people like me, what I mean is the working poor. There use to be three class of people now there is only two that is the very rich are the poor, if you don't understand where she is coming from you must be one of the very rich. You have to live the life to understand where she is coming from.
Heh. This is the most I've seen of her since I started follwing Obama's progress. I'm not at all surprised to find that that she's a terrific speaker who comes across as being genuine and intelligent. Must be why she married her husband. ;)
Michelle Obama is very impressive -- smart, strong, warm, professional, grounded. It seems like her and their intentions are good. It's not about them, it's about us. I really think they want to change our country.
My respect to the lady, but allow me to doubt that she has to deal with laundry. The likelihood that the wife of a senator and presidential candidate doesn't have domestic service is vanishingly low. Again, unlike other women she has to deal with grueling schedules and media attention, but probably not cooking and cleaning.
She is open and down to earth, and she speaks freely, and she is beautiful and works out and talks about it, awesome! Help the injuried, encourage women to become lawyers and judges to get rid of the sociopath liars that are representing the justice system now. Women and the reality incredible! How will they deal with a flat tax going after the rich to pay more fairly. Environment they will pass good laws like the clean air act, ect. Thank God their is hope for this corrupt country.
Republicans put us in this situation. 4 years of war, and 6 years of war against terrorims. We never will win this war. The Worlmd has never been unsecure, Ben Laden is still free.
Michelle: Thanks for acknowledging the imperfections of yourself and Obama- it's comforting, reassuring and helps me place some faith in your authenticity.
Michelle Obama is as impressive as her husband. What a charismatic, down-to-earth, inspirational, couple of leaders they are. I hope they will be our next first couple.
Democrats in power? The slim majority in both houses cannot yet override the president's veto. The supreme court is still republican. Republicans are still in power basically. You voters can change this in 2008.
You are right southexpress. I was just replying to the one who said that Democrats are now in power! This is further than the truth since they do not have enough numbers to override the veto of this uncompromising president.
hughster41, shouldnt we go beyond our own ideologies? I mean Obama is intelliegent and smart enough to revive the economy and heal the PR disaster caused by bad leadership (something a lib or cons is capable of, right?) Anyway Obama has worked with many republicans in Congress, even Bush (see wikipedia) to get laws passed. If America is going to survive through tough times we need bipartisan support to find better solutions. It's the same reason i back Schwarzenegger.
I can't wait to see her in a beautiful gown at the inaugural ball! I really can't wait - I just want to go to sleep and wake up with him as President.
The Obama's are a lovely couple, mild mannered and very well spoken.Theirs is a universal language that resonates with everybody regardless of geo-political boundaries."Our society is only as strong as our women and families".I remember Sen.Obama going to Africa last year and carrying with him a message of tough love.I really liked that.
She'd be a pretty strong candidate in her own right if she ever got involved in politics. She's everything that Hillary isn't... authentic, likeable, and honest.
What rock did you crawl out from under? Obama, from his books, speeches, and from talking to his classmates at Harvard, is a decent, God honoring, family person. A Christian and an honorable person.
Though I am a very stong supporter of Hillary Clinton and will vote for her enthusiastically, I am very impressed with Michelle Obama. She's a class act and a credit to Barack's campaign.
I love that they stay a family untit and still share time together. God Bless. Obama 08!
