Fly fishing yes.. but for non natives. that rule does not Apply for us In Red Bank. barb less Hooks all the Way down to the Centennial bridge also. But Being there alone with a fish and no rubber boots or waders. I land them on the shore.. and try to get them in the water as fast as i can. your right about beaching them. cant argue with that. But Man do i Ever love fishing.
Not to sound like a jerk, but I believe it's fly fishing only above the bridge you're standing beside. And you probably shouldn't beach a fish that you're going to release - it's pretty hard on them - you've probably decreased his chance of survival by about 50% by doing that; rather than just unhooking him in the water. Regardless, nice to see the release and I enjoyed the video.
It is on The Miramichi River here in New Brunswick, Right at the Red bank sunny Corner Bridge, Very excellent place to fish!

yep. Atlantic salmon is what it is. a black salmon is what it is.. that was a Spring catch.
