My hair naturally has random straight pieces all over it..which is so bizzare. I even buzzed all of my hair off...and sure enough, it grew back in just the same as when I thought the straight was due to a dye job I did. Lame.
I have heat damage. and im not gonna lie i apply alot of heat. I am trying to go natural and I dont want to because i have alot of heat damage in my bangs area and its gonna look really odd with two different textures in my hair. soo what should I do to get my curls back so i can go natural? help me please!
Please help! I have been straightening my hair for a few months now almost everyday and now when I come out of the shower, my hairs not it's natural state! What do I do? And how do I make my hair go back to being natural! Please reply! Thanks : )
I Need Your Help! I Wanted To Flat Iron My Hair So I Did A Little Section At The Back. It Straightened But I Didnt Like The Way It Looked So I Went To Wet It So It Can Be Curly Like The Rest Of My Hair And Only The Ends And Roots Curled Back To Its Natural State. But As It Started To Dry I Saw That It Was Trying To Curl Back Up But It Didnt Curl All The Way. Do You Know Anything I Can Do To Make It Curly Again? Im 15 And Im Transitioning. So Could You Help Me Please Because Im Really Scared. ):
Iabsolutely love your videos but I have a huuge dilemma!I recently straightened my hair and wore it like that for a week and when i washed it the front of my hair was curly but the back was still str8...will my curld come back??:(
i finally straightened my hair yesterday for my one year naptural, and i was really afraid i would have damage and my curls wouldnt come back (i love them so). long story short, I HATED IT. i came home today and washed it out hoping the water would spring my curlies back. overall it looks the same, but idk im still k inda skeptical. probably no damage but just doesnt look the same. oh well im glad you didnt have any damage and your hair is very beautiful
Hard water and too much protein makes 4a/b/c hair unruly. You may need to chelate to get the mineral buildup from the relaxer(which has minerals in it) and hard water. I suffered and also have lost hair because of mineral, chlorine, and protein buildup. Good Luck!
Does straightening your hair loosing your curls, I have 4b/c hair type so my curls are very tight. Also my hair is not as soft as i wanted to be so i am still trying to figure out what work for me. your advise is needed thanks
I have a question about reverting curls. SO, I BC'd in sept and wore wonderful yarn braids for oct and nov and then I took them out....My hair grew a lot, but now its not as curly as it was. Is that normal or did the yarn braids ruin my curl?
@ishallbemysquishy Clarifying is washing hair so all product residue is removed. This usually involves leaving the hair "squeaky" clean. Squeaky clean means all oils have been stripped from the hair, this should be avoided regularly becuz it dries out the hair. :)
clarifying is using a shampoo that will strip the products from your hair. Be careful with shampoos. Use a natural clarifying shampoo that does not have SLS (Sodium Laurel Sulfate). I suggest using Qhemet Biologic Wheatgrass shampoo. The be sure to deep condition with a moisturizing deep conditioner for at least a half hour with heat.
People's heads are sooo different, When I was younger and didn't perm my hair, my mom hot combed my hair every 2-3 weeks and my hair NEVER lost it's texture and that bad boy was very very HOT! Actually it would revert back once the humidity hit my hair. My cousin's hair had heat damage after doing a hot comb session. I go to a pro before i straighten my hair myself. That is another problem as well "kitchen beauticians". If you know what you are doing, do it, if you are unsure, DON'T!
i see you have hair mayonnaise ugh that stuff smells 2 me does it help your hair because if it does i wanna know so i can use it again ill just deal with the smell
I've seen some videos on here that suggests trying a beer rinse to regain your curls. I think prettydimples was one I watched. Anyways just search beer rinse, hope it works for her.

my hairs about your length .. i cut all the perm and red hair dye out of it so now its just natural.. i no this is a dumb question but how long do you think it will take to become just about shoulder length and what hairstyles should i do to achieve that? (i have good hair genes in my blood mums hairs past hair down her back!)
your natural curls are awesome! my hair doesnt curl up like that at all... i doubt its heat damaged cause i havent gotten it flat ironed or pressed in.... a good 7 or 8 months is there anything i can do to define my curls more?
yes moisturize moisturize. Maybe you should do conditoner treatments. like set your hair with conditioner like 2-3 days per week and let it sit for about 30mins til an hour and moisturize til you cant no more..lol
I have the same problem. I have two different textures. The back of my hair is soft and curls are popping everywhere. The front of my hair just laugh at the fact that I'm even trying.
Maybe the damage that some people get and the lack of curl come from straightening often. Your hair looks good! You look like you've lost more weight too.
thanks, umm check my videos night time skin routine and also daytime skin routine ,...that snot exact title but if u type blackonyx77 skin on here u shud find them hope that helps
Your curls are poppin'! I think the key is that you do not staighten it often and you took precautions...I am thinking about flat ironing mine for Thanksgiving...it has not been straight in 2 years..
aaaw Thanks, i think its from my new job runnin on my feet 40 to 56 hrs back and forth, its crazy but thanks for noticing now i just need to adjust my eating habits and maybe ill lose more
I was wondering, what store (or type of store) did you purchase your hair mayonase (deep conditioner treatment) from? i tried my local hair store and wal mart...but didn't see it!
ima have to agree with "senationalliv" your shruken fro is sooo cute!! haha, you can rock a wash n go with no problem lady! especially those curls in your bangs! haha
