If Nike released this line of shoes, they would make a ton of money, could get away with selling them for a little more, AND STILL still donate the money from the first 1500 pairs to Michael J. Fox's Parkinsons foundation, or just donate a percentage of profit of all the MAG shoes. Everybody would win that way. Nike makes money, gets press, funding gets in for research on Parkinson's disease, and the consumer gets awesome shoes that are only slightly overpriced.

It's unfortunately true that these shoes are not self-lacing, however... NIKE has also stated that there will be another version of the shoe released in 2015 which WILL incorporate the self-lacing feature. So you may want to hold off and hang onto your life-savings for a few more years...
