Hi drags, you are mistaken, you CAN build lots of traps, not only dispenser. Read minecraft wiki and watch videos placed there for example. I have seen pretty cool traps one YouTube. Like doors closing behind back of the victim and room filling with water, or dispensers started to fire repeatedly and whole escape route filled with snad so there was no way of dodging, and (...).

You really can build lot of really great traps, you just have to use redstone and yours genius... or tutorial :P

you can make trap doors. its doing a pitfall. done with a pressure plate, redstone controlling water flow, and torches and sand or gravel. but i guess you still want to save torches. but thats how to do it

Ohh there are so many traps you can make! I attempted to do that sort of "death world" thing.

Use TNT, Dispensers, Redstone switches, Lava traps, water traps, minecart traps, nether workings (lava spawn in the neather with only 1 way to land) There are sooo many you can do:)!
